Seems like CIC stopped charging applicants after Sep 16, any idea why? Also I've seen a number of conflicting responses with regard to completeness checks with reference to published CIC caps. Experts - do you think the current CIC numbers reflect September applicants or not?

Request you to confirm if the MR request comes after the background verification is completed.

I have received my PER on 2.12.14, when should I expect NDVO to start back ground verification and send me MR request?

Also my address has changed, at what stage should I inform NDVO of this change?

its talking on an average 30-40 days for NDVO. Take 2/01/2015 onwards as an approximate date.

Is there a way to know about one's application besides ecas and email?
My application was received on september 2nd. According to the spreadsheet and reports, people from this date were charged 10 days ago. I haven't been charged. Is there a chance i still might? Or is it too late and I should just wait for the package to return (my mailing address is in Canada so it should be faster)?
Also, I haven't got any kind of mail or email, and there is no information on my e-cas (I have a UCI from a student visa).
I have sent 2 emails in the last 15 days and had no response. I tried to call them, but the attendants told me they weren't able to give me any kind of information and the only way to contact CIC about that kind of inquiry was through email.
I am getting desperate, since i am completely in the dark and have no idea how to know if they at least received the application. By now, I am just wishing my package comes back to me quickly so I can correct and resend my application in time.
Can anybody give any kind of info that can light my path?

u know what guys... one of my friend he is a immigration consultant .. he knows the status of each month because he is having multiple cases of each months .. now NVDO was stuck in the Mid of June applicants... May be we will got MR request in the Mid of jan ... Approx..

2171, 13th August applicant. CC charged on 10th Nov.

Will update SS later today.

today receptionist of my office told me there was a call for Employee verification ,they wanted to talk to HR bt unfortunately HR is on leave
then they asked about emailid of HR and said they will call again on friday

ohh god
m feeling nervous n worried

I hope NDVO shoud drink some energy drink to boost their energy level... so that they can speed up processing our files.... Lets offer them some RedBulls....lolllzz
