I agree. Although most provinces are also considering to change their system to EE soon. I am seeing PNP will be flocked in the first few months of 2015.

I don't see a reason for going the extra mile as well. Passing the Australian eligibility score mark is fairly easy. So if anyone approached me for advice I would recommend to apply there or obtain a Canadian degree and apply on that basis (PNP graduate nomination, post graduation work permit, CEC).

I think everybody can apply in this new system without any foreign job background... they only won't get the transferable points... am I right?!?!1

And people without any job history... how should they select a suitable NOC? according to their degrees?!?!?!

Issuing of PER is in snail pace, CIC is still working on 8th to 11th Aug back and forth, out of order.........It's really hard to predict the trend. I'm 22nd Aug applicant , when will be my turn to receive PER???????? :-[Very tensed....

I have been an addicted yet silent one for a while, apologies but I had nothing to contribute...since there are so many knowledgable folks.

File recieved Aug 5th, Noc 5125, CC charged Nov 15th. My ECAS status shows 'in process' ..application recieved Aug 5th. I have UCI as I am already in Canada. But I have not recieved PER email yet. Should I wait? Prepare another package ASAP (I wouldn't know what to correct)? or prepare for EE?
Your valuable opinions would be very much appreciated.

You can certainly express your interest to apply without any job experience. But it is almost a guarantee that you will NEVER be invited to apply for PR if you don't have any job experience.

You are within normal timelines. The PER takes 1 week to 1 month, but since you can see your status in CAS you would probably receive the email until the end of this week. Best of luck!

Nvm. I am just happy that I got into the cap this year after failing under 2174 on FSW 2013 due to cap reached and after seeing all the requirement of EE I can only hope that most of the members of the forum could make it.

Hi, either u will get PER email soon or somehow it was missed, I was reading this forum but a different topic that few people did not get any PER email from CIO. They did not even get info from call centre (which gave them UCI), finally, they contacted VO directly after a month and the reply was 'we have received your file and file number Exxxxxxxxx on xx-xx-xxxx. No action is required from your side at this stage'. So no worries... I think your PER is almost confirmed.....only in one case where an applicant claims that his ECAS was active for a while and disappeared and got NER. I dont know how true it is, I never saw any applicant, apart from this case, reporting such thing.

I am currently working on a 20,000 words translation...due end of this week...and this PER email is not helping me get on with it. I hope I will get my email when I am done with this job.

It's hard to concentrate while waiting for PER but if you try to focus on your translation the time will pass faster. Good luck and share your good news as soon as you get them
