"These Instructions repeal, as of January 1, 2015, the Ministerial Instructions issued pursuant to section 87.3 of the IRPA and published in the Canada Gazette on April 26, 2014, for the management of applications in the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class. For greater clarity, the repeal does not affect the processing of applications received prior to January 1, 2015, and considered under previous Ministerial Instructions issued pursuant to section 87.3, including the Instructions published in the Canada Gazette on April 26, 2014."[/size]

22nd August applicant here.....If so, will CIC send me my PER before their X'mas holidays...... ???Diplomatru said:About 4 months since receipt date.
I agree. It seems that provincial nomination and arranged employment accounts for half of total points. So if you don't have either of these or canadian work experience, it will be almost impossible to qualify.Diplomatru said:I think that basically they are closing down federal economic immigration stream with this EE system. I cannot imagine a Canadian employer hiring a foreigner and enduring 6 months wait time until he lands. Occasionally they will pick someone, but the intake will shrink to hundreds. Consequently, PNP streams and QSFW will be overwhelmed soon.

I agree. Although most provinces are also considering to change their system to EE soon. I am seeing PNP will be flocked in the first few months of 2015.Diplomatru said:I think that basically they are closing down federal economic immigration stream with this EE system. I don't see a reason for going the extra mile as well. Passing the Australian eligibility score mark is fairly easy. So if anyone approached me for advice I would recommend to apply there or obtain a Canadian degree and apply on that basis (PNP graduate nomination, post graduation work permit, CEC).namaste said:I agree. In-demand immigrants' applications will be processed in six months or less
December 1, 2014 — Ottawa — Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander today confirmed it's one month and counting until Express Entry launches a new phase of active immigration recruitment to meet economic and labour market needs. Potential candidates can create their profile on January 1st, 2015, with the first Invitations to Apply issued within weeks.
Express Entry will help select skilled immigrants based on their skills and experience. Those with valid job offers or provincial/territorial nominations will be picked first. Details published today in the Canada Gazette explain how candidates will be ranked and selected, based on these factors that research shows are linked to success in the Canadian economy. Research shows these criteria will help ensure newcomers participate more fully in the Canada's economy and integrate more quickly into Canadian society.
