Hi guys

I am filling up the generic form and stuck on a point. I have done MBA and then CFA as full time student. I did some other diploma course as well in between the studies. Thus, the number years in education sum up to about 21. but according to the form I can only show my studies till MBA. I am confused whether I should write number year in studies as 17 or 21.

Could you please help.

Quick response would be really appreciated as I m in the middle of filling up the forms.

Best Regards

Can Someone pls help with the above?

Updated SS with my PER information. Just providing details of my application here under, which might help someone :)

App Sent: 27 July 2014
App Received at CIC: 31 July 2014
CC charged: 12 November
PER: 28 November 2014

---Did no write name in NATIVE Language
---Reference Letter sent with application that mentions duties on NOC 2281 (50 eligible NOC's) was not sufficient (I came to know this at later stage). Sent a covering letter along with a fresh letter issued by my ex-employer in August end, alternatively sent an email to CIC - Sydney email address with scanned document (Reference Letter & Covering Letter) mentioning all details (Name, Surname, DOB, PP Number, Application received date and time and person receiving etc).
Received confirmation email from CIC (approx 45 days later) confirming receiving application pack and also the additional letter sent, and confirmation from them, having added new reference letter to application pack.
---Provided 2 years of work exp in NOC 2281, and rest 1 year + 3 years in different NOC's but within NOC 0, A & B
---for Work Exp, provided only reference letters and nothing else

Wishing all the forum mates best of luck with their processes. This forum is indeed addictive... and informative both :)

Once again... thank you to each and every individual for their support, sharing information, sharing experiences... and on top of it, updating SS...

Congrats!

Hi Guys,

Need Urgent inputs on the following Ministerial Instructions (No.13) issued on CIC website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/

Which is:

Ministerial Instructions 13 (MI13): Processing of new and existing applications for temporary residence and permanent residence

Ministerial Instructions have been issued in order to assist in the prevention of the transmission and spread of the Ebola outbreak.

Effective October 31, 2014, CIC will not process any new permanent resident or temporary resident applications and will stop processing existing temporary resident applications for which a final decision has not been made if the applicant has recently been in an Ebola-affected country.

For pending permanent resident applications, visas will not be issued unless the officer is satisfied the applicant has not been in an Ebola-affected country within the three months prior to finalization

Does this means people from Ebola effected countries will not be issued PR/Visa....

You should write actual number of years of study i.e, 21. you will be awarded points for the education for which you will submit ECA report.

Good luck

Dear friends,

I need your advice. I have received PER on Nov 21-2014. My visa office is London. I have couple of queries:

1. I have resigned from my current job, and my last working day was Nov 15-2014. For the time being, I'm unemployed till I get another job. When do I need to inform LVO and how?

2. I have submitted my application with non-accompanying wife. My wife is pregnant and we are expecting our first baby in Mar-2015. Now, I have to decided to add my wife and new born as accompanying. However, my wife will only be able to give medicals after delivery. When do I inform LVO and how?

Thanks
