Hi RK29824,
it's completely unnecessary to contact CIC to cancel one of your both applications, why don't you just let it play, and wait for CIC to decide which of your application shall be canceled.
similar cases happened a lot. On the final stage, CIC will contact you to cancel one. Plus no refund can be done at this stage, what's the point for you to be the one who initiates the cancellation.
best of luck.

Hey Thanks for reply....

But If I let it play...will local office send me request for MR & RPRF ? If they send request for both....and I do not pay for one RPRF application..will it be negative case for me?

Or before sending medical & RPRF...they will ask me to cancel one application? Do you know..someone..who faced this?

Dear members,

Kindly clear my thoughts...

My job duties and experience are perfectly match with NOC.
But my education qualification is not matching with my NOC.

What are the chances?
Please Give your opinion

Education Qualification will not play a role in PR process ( but in ECA report). Job duties should match for what NOC you are applying for.Go ahead and apply if your job duties matches according to the NOC requirement.

For eligibility job duties and experience should match or education qualification is also require?
If hob duties and experience is match but education is not matching than what may happen? Means is there chances of PER?

I am not sure about this point, but for many professionals like medical practitioners, engineers........, a match between education and job is a must, but for other occupations, I think education is not regarded as a golden standard in determining the applicant's eligibility as a skilled worker, so PER may be issued even if there is no precise match between job and education. This is only my understanding of the point you raised here.

You should have gotten separate application number and receipt number for the two applications. Just quote the numbers for the one that you want cancelled. To be clear, you can also add other information related to the application (eg. the NOC, app received date etc). There won't be any confusion.

Thanks Namaste :)

Hi JJM2788 ,
It's absolutely fine.
education background is not mandatory to be a match with your NOC as long as you can prove that you have at least one year working experience for the NOC.
the only role of your education plays in your application is to get points which are assessed based on your education background.
just submit your application ASAP. wish you good luck.

Your education is irrelevant as far as work experience is concerned.

Hi RK29824,
You local visa office will contact you to cancel one before they request any further movements from your side.
I'm sure they will ask you to cancel one before medical request. Sorry i couldn't find an exact person who ever faced the same situation, but if you try to search in this thread, i think there can be some results.
I personally heard a case who applied under both CEC and FSWP, at the stage before medical, he was contacted by CIC to cancel one of them.
so my advice is just relax, enjoy your remaining time in your home country, and prepare for a "COLD" reception from Canada.

Once again, you can have the education of an astronaut and still claim points for your work experience. You are good.

Hi Friends,

If the date in the reference letter is at the bottom of the letter i.e at the down of the signature of HR, will that be an issue../
Absolutely no issue.. Keep rolling..
