You don't get refund after PER. You can cancel your application by sending case-specific-enquiry or email to your visa office, but no refunds at this point.

Thing is that, I have applied under 2 different NOC's and both applications are accepted and received PER. I have 2 different file numbers for those applications, but only 1 UCI.

Now I want to cancel 1 application and proceed with another.

I want to know, how can I cancel my one application? I am afraid that, if i send email to CIC to cancel 1 application, they should not misunderstood this and cancel both applications.

Please advice...

Just received PER mail forwarded by Consultant dated 27th Nov. My app details are given below:

App received : 5th Aug
DD encash: 13th Nov (as per PER)
PER: 27th Nov

Will update the SS in morning IST time...

I have one small doubt. I have applied with wife....so should we have 2 UCI numbers (1 for me and 1 for wife)?

Yes, you are right, you should have 2 UCI for both you and your wife.
but in the PER, it only gives you the UCI for the Primary applicant.
your wife's UCI can be informed on later stage.

The message you received is a confirmation that your job duties are compitable with the mentioned NOC, so it is a good sign, but be cautious that the final decision of your eligibility is at CIO officer's discretion.

In regard to your chance of being in the cap or not, I can see 385 applicants filing this NOC so far (This figure must include all August applicants and maybe a part of September applicants is accounted for by this figure), so I think you still have a chance, but you should act as quickly as possible.

For eligibility job duties and experience should match or education qualification is also require?
If hob duties and experience is match but education is not matching than what may happen? Means is there chances of PER?

hi all,

we got our medicals done on 17th nov and was informed by the hospital that the medicals are uploaded on 23rd nov, but till today the third line is not updated on ecas. Pls advice normally how long it takes to update the third line after medical exams.

Hi RK29824,
it's completely unnecessary to contact CIC to cancel one of your both applications, why don't you just let it play, and wait for CIC to decide which of your application shall be canceled.
similar cases happened a lot. On the final stage, CIC will contact you to cancel one. Plus no refund can be done at this stage, what's the point for you to be the one who initiates the cancellation.

You should have gotten separate application number and receipt number for the two applications. Just quote the numbers for the one that you want cancelled. To be clear, you can also add other information related to the application (eg. the NOC, app received date etc). There won't be any confusion.

You are having 2 different Immigration File Number / Application Number quote that appropriate Number for cancellation.

You cannot claim refund for initial amount if you are cancelling the application, its non refundable. Thanks
