What type of affidavit? Didnt translator stamped as translated copy and notarized with his notary public details. I sent 4 apps without affidavit and received per for all and even mr for one application. But please make sure with some seniors.

I gave translated+notarized copy of my marriage certificate (with notarized seal+stamp) and photocopy of the original copy.

But now I can see in the Instruction guide it is mentioned that-
Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

  • the English or French translation; and
  • an affidavit from the person who completed the translation;
  • a certified copy of the original document.

Also in the in the certified copy it has to be mentioned that “I certify that this is a true copy of the original document” which I missed.

Do u think it is okay or should I send the addendum now?

Something which makes sense is that cio forwards dd on the same day for encashment on the day they start cc for the day
Also NOC to NOC timelines change

True.. But for NOC 2281 there have been cc charged till 12th September, which is a bit worrying.. Since so many of us from the 5th haven't been charged...
I can't see the logic in this.

My notice period is also 3 months from the time of acceptance of resignation, invariably resulting in around 3.5-4.0 months notice period. Also PF and gratuity (retirals) will take another 30-45 days time to get.
My plan is to get an offer from some other company (which I've already done) and put in papers in my current company by 31st Dec 2014 or whenever I get PER (whichever is later). This way, at least I have a backup plan in case COPR is not recd or delayed as I can join the new company if that happens - Plan B
In case there are no issues and I get COPR, then obviously, I will not join the new company and fly to Canada - Plan A
Also January 1st to March 31st will be notice period and as good as a long holiday. No tensions, no worries. Will be able to spend some quality time with family. At the same time no loss of money.

Agreed with you , same here notice period three months , spouse also working so same for her
but suggestion is to wait of ppr than we take chance as visa is valid from mr so i don't think so it can be delay more than 4 month from mr to complete the whole process

lets pray that we receive ppr before 31st dec , at least to complete our full notice period ...
