Has anyone applied for Police Clearance Certificate from China and share the procedure.

As per CIC procedure someone need to act on your behalf in China to get the Certificate. Currently I don’t have anyone who can act on my behalf and get this work done.

I have stayed in Beijing and Shanghai for approx. 10 + 10 months in year 2004 - 2006

Pls. help.

Woohhhh... I think we are very lucky then.. and still feel like pain in waiting for PPR which is counted in "months"...

Guys for PPR , you need to wait.
Looks like they are stamping all the old applicants. way back to 2010 etc. look at the below thread

So I would expect PPR request only in January.

Fingerprinting and Criminal Background Checks

The Consulate does not offer fingerprinting services. Private citizens requesting fingerprints can check with the State Crime Records Bureau, Tamilnadu Police:

You will need to bring your own fingerprinting form or card along with a government issued identity document. The form that is normally recognized is FBI form FD-258. A printable PDF version of this card is available here. Upon arrival at SCRB for fingerprinting service, you will be issued an invoice for payment of fees of Rs. 50 at State Bank of India, Thousand Light branch, Chennai. You should produce the receipt of payment for the fingerprinting to be done.

seniours and experts please guide how long it takes to get MR after getting PER ..and total process time left after PER???

You need to courier the additional/ corrected documents at the following address

with a covering letter mentioning the forms you are re-sending and the corrections you have done in that, along with the following information:

NOC Category

Passport number

Last name

First name

Date & Place of birth of principal applicant

Email id

Contact Number

Contact address

You also send an email to CIC at cio- sydney- search-enquiry @ cic.gc. ca (please ignore the spaces in between the email address), mentioning the complete details as mentioned above and stating that you have sent the additional documents and request them to include the same in your application.

I had re-sent my payment form as i wanted to change my cc details and the corrected form was accepted by CIC and my new card was charged.

One more question, do I need to have my signature in the cover letter? or just printed name is enough?

About MR, it generally takes 45-60 days after PER.

So...stay positive and wait for at least next 2 months.

i also dont know how to update the SS if seniours or admin can please update the SS.

DD charged on 9th oct 2014.
per received on 20th oct 2014.
waiting for MR...
