Hello everyone,
I sent my application in 19 June and the visa office Paris requested me yesterday by e-mail to pay the permanent residence fees but also to send a CV for me and my husband. I don't understand if that means my application is already accepted or no and I wonder really why they ask the 2 CV?
PS: they didn't requested me a medical exam nor the police certificate!!
Please can you help me, I am very confused :o

That's weird. Did you check your ECAS ? Share exact email you received so that we will be able to help you more. Please take off your personal info.

Nothing to worry about PCC or MR they might have missed it.

PCC is requested only if any traces are found, otherwise they don't request PCC from every applicant.

Moderator can you please update my SS, or I need to create one more nick?

Don't email them asking for updates, email them for updates only if you haven't received PER even after 35-40 days of PER.

Sorry I cant read French. Did you check you ECAS though ? If you receive this email today, then I would suggest wait for 48 and you should receive your MR.
If you don't received it than proceed with what they asked you to do.

I usually don't recommend anyone emailing CIC and asking them about Medicals. But your case is different I am not sure what to do in this case. As per email they have given you 60 days to provide them with what they asked for, so I would say send them everything asap, and wait for there reply.

My son was also born in Canada. We added him as a dependent just to be on the safe side. They did not charge us for him. I think you better send them her birth certificate.

Thanks Derin for the info

Sounds Funny. They didnt ask for a medical? No passport request? No AOR? No PER? Please raise a CSE and then pay RPRF as per their instructions. Please do check if you are paying the right party - dont pay touts, agents etc. For the correct party, please check CIC website.

Maverick

Dear Goku,

Can you cite any references that PCC is not requested from every applicant? As far as I have seen, everyone is asked for it. If "traces"are found ?? Really?? I have advised this lady to check if she is paying RPRF to a CIC nominated party as per their website. Its very likely that she has missed her PER and CC/DD charge but highly unlikely that she would have missed her MR and PCC! It's the rarest of the rare cases I have seen.

Regards,
Rick

Strange... Just to be on the safe side for being a pray to fraud, check the authenticity of the e-mail address.
