PCC should not be more than 3 months old when submitting.
You certainly can try VO may accept them, or ask for new ones.

The CIC website says

Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.

So, they are valid for one year from the date of issue. I have not submitted PCC along with the application, as they are not supposed to be older than 3 months.

EDMONTON:

I have read many discussion in this forum about Canadian winter and cities. I just want to comment on EDMONTON.
- During your 1st year, you will pretty much hate Edmonton. By many, it's called Deadmonton. During summer you will probably fall in love with the city, will have a drive thru Rocky, visit heavenly places like Jasper. For the next winter you will learn to adjust your clothing and life style. And by the 3rd year you will really love the place.
- If you have kids, just know that the city is literally designed for them. Great indoor and outdoor activities for kids. Any public school in your neighborhood is better than an expensive privets school in your home country. School boards are very friendly, great education and great teachers. Your children will love to go school and feel that they are accepted.
- you cannot buy a car if you don't have Alberta insurance, which means Canadian driver license. When you have one, they will ask for insurance from your previous years and if you don't have it, it will cost a fur tune. So take with you any insurance paper, translated , and present it in Edmonton
- if you have a tight budget, go to Goodwill or Value Village for coats especially. You will find a Colombia/north face coat for less than 20 dollars. Just trow it into the washing machine. For your kids, if you are really short on budged, go ask school for winter clothing and they will provide you 2nd hand clothing for free.
- For bulk food non perishable items go to Superstore or Walmart. They are not located at easy access but much convenient than Safeway or Save on Foods. Also use coupons, look for them.

How could this be possible.Are you sure.13/08 august applicant reported yesterday about return of application due to Cap filled.Same has been reported by other one as well 19/08 august applicant.

Might be they have charged mistakenly as they did for 2174 august applicant.

Not sure about the reality.. but there was some entry from 1 of 2173 applicant which made me really happy as I am Oct 16 2171 applicant..

some members when they were born they took he oath that one day they will join this forum and just award every one with lots of -1s without any sense...just log in...click bad and log out......why they do it, they themselves don't know.......this is the evil I m talking about.

may be they are paid for this on some online site or some government project. so they are greedy to give as much -1s as they can to get more rewards.
