Just checked UPS tracking and looks like my app will get tomorrow to Sydney, NS! Soooo excited! As soon as it is received I'll send my first entry to the SS!!! Tomorrow 11/27 starts my real process! Wish me luck! ;D :-*

UCI number is created after your application passes the completeness check and fees is charged you can then use the UCI to communicate with CIO or your visa office after but most importantly you can use it to check the status of your application on the E-CAS website
I hope that answers your question

if you do not pass completeness check, you still will have a UCI number.

Got my Medical Request, Passport Request and my Right for Permanent Residence Fee this morning.

whats confusing is that is says the medical exam must be completed at least two weeks prior to submitting all other documents and says I must submit all items within 60 days but on my medical instructions form it says I have to undergo my medical exams within 30 days.

Ideally you need an affidavit backed by SSC Certificate which mentions your DOB and Father's name (either of the 2 or both).

If the School Certificate does not mention your father's name (at the least) then you should mention ALL details relevant to your birth (DOB/Parent's Name etc) in the affidavit.

I do not see you mentioning you Father's name and the DOB in your affidavit (correct me if I am wrong) and based on this, my suggestion will be a new affidavit with the relevant info sent ASAP to CIC as an additional document.

EDIT: Sorry I missed the part of your affidavit where you have indeed mentioned your father's name. Have you also mentioned your DOB in the affidavit ?

thanking for your insight , i send all docs on that day only, but keeping my fingers crossed whether they would attach it to my application or not
My first declaration was (not notarized) on plain paper mentioning fathers name only, DOB also not mentioned. plz comment

Normally Visa office sends Medical, RPRF and PCC together first and then followed by PPR. I think so your visa office is sending all together that is why they are asking you to do medical first. Which means medical needs to be submitted prior to all other docs for your health confirmation and then they will release email for PPR later.
