Hi Max,

My Scenario was same as yours. I kept my file when I was in India but then moved to USA. So I had my Medicals in USA with CIC approved doctor. CIC has accepted it and my status has also changed to "Medical Received". So don't panic and go ahead with your medicals from your region.

So, if I get my medical and PCC done here and I send them to NDVO, they will process the application.
But, when they would need to stamp the visa on my passport, do I require to travel to Delhi for the stamping?
Senior, please provide some info on this.

Hi Guys, after the due appreciation and gratitude, I have asked this question over a month ago, and the case is still the same! I am getting very worried and stressed out! Is this just normal... given that CPC-Ottawa is processing applications of Mid-June (not on the same NOC though).
My NOC is 2132

After all the gratitude for the support and information....

I am a May 8 Cairo Visa Office applicant. I have received PER on August 14th. This year, as much as last year, Cairo applicants were transferred to CPC-Ottawa. I haven't received any emails yet, No changes in my online status since PER. Should I be worried, given that some people (from different NOCs) have already received there Medical Request and their App receive date and PER in much later days?

Is there something should do? Or the almost 2 months delay is normal? Please, advice as I am getting very worried... That is, can't work, eat, sleep kinda worried ;D

Hi Guys,
I received MR / PCC / RPRF request recently. My consultant is asking me to make DD in Canadian dollars payable at Toronto. I was going thru ths forum and realised that DD in INR payable at new delhi are getting accepted. Pls suggest as I am planning to get my DD made in INR.

you are right. DD in INR is acceptable. Rs 26700 per adult, nil for minors.

NOC: 2172.

No you dont have to travel to Indai. Inform NDVO that for job reasons you are in USA hence request them to change the Visa office to USA(I believe its in New York). I knew this since my friend did the same last year.

Getting a new passport is not a hassle in India now..
Better is to get the new passport.. I have done the same..
Got tatkaal appointment on 18th Nov..
Visited PSK on 20th Nov, verification happened yesterday..
Got Passport on 26th Nov, though it was dispatched yesterday

If you have address issues then you can follow the below:
You can give your parental address as Permanent Address and present address as communication address, if you are staying in different city..

And there is only 1 PCC you need from INDIA..
