Guys,
I need help on how to request CIC for extension to submit PCC report.
I recently got PCC and Medical request and I'm given 60 days to submit all the documents. But, I don't think my PCC from FBI will be available soon eventhough it's been 3 weeks that I have applied for PCC. How can I request extension to submit the PCC report?

Write to your visa office through case specific enquiry regarding FBI pcc and request for extension. It is reported on the forum that CIC provides 3 months extension as FBI clearence takes much time.

uci number is active for main applicant only , as you have receive uci for wife is only of medical .

this is same for me also my wife and my 2 year old kid are also having uci number

DD Encashed
Just called Thomas Cook. They said my DD has been encashed on 14 November

NOC : 2173
Application recieve date : 07 August 2014

But I have not yet recieved any PER

Hi Andy... I called the call centre and found out that my app was returned on 3 Oct. Till now I have not received my application back.

You start preparing a new set. I sent a DD and the same is not encashed till date.

As already replied earlier, no PCC required for Canada.
It would be like going for the selection process of the police services of a country and they asking you to first get a valid police clearance.

Hi Friends,

Just sharing with all the PCC process for friends who are applying for it.. I got my PER on 18th Nov. I had filled up the online form on for my wife and me. I did not pay the fee online and neither did I book any appointment as I was asked not to do so by the customer care. I visited PSK yesterday at 8:30 am and I got PCC stamped on my passport at 1:00 pm. They have also given a certificate signed by the passport officer. In my case, the passport officer did not ask for any other document except a copy of passport (as my address in the passport and my current address is same). Thank GOD, I had recently renewed my passport and got my wife's passport with spouse name printed on it, so the address on both of our passport were current.
Some of the PSK might ask you for the document checklist, as I had read in one of the post, although I was not asked to produce any other document. And yes, you don't even require to carry your photograph as it is captured at the PSK. This may not be such a short process, however, if the address in your passport is different from your current address.

Hi Arka,

I recently(August 2014) renewed my passport and added my Wife name in my passport. As per your experience I may not required to submit any documents to get PCC but, In my wife case her Passport address and my passport address are different. Do my wife need to submit address proof of present address for PCC or my passport address proof is enough ?
