Do we get any email from NDVO after they receive my file? Or they directly send an email for MR?NDVO doesnt send AOR. They send MR directly with PCC and RPRF in most cases for 2014
- Does MR request also contain a PCC request? Shall I go ahead and apply for PCC at passport office? Yes, go ahead
- I observed in FSW 2014 sheet that most of the people whose office is NDVO got their MR and RPRF on same day? I thought RPRF will come at the last stages where they make positive impression on file. My assumption is right? NDVO works mysterious

I want to inquire something related to the PROOF OF FUNDS, I went to the bank today , to have my balance certificate ... They asked the exact name for whom I want to achieve this ? They cannot issue it like , to whom it may concern .. they were asking the name of the authority that needs this ... So what name shall I give to them , which they will print on the balance certificate ... ???

Make it in the name of CIC, NS (Canada Immigration & Citizenship, Nova Scotia, Canada).

However the person at the bank is just being a nuisance; thousands of people get 'To Whomsoever It Concerns' bank certificates for multiple purposes (I know it for a fact; my Aunt works at a bank). If it is a government bank; get your work done which ever way is easy and on the other hand if it is a private bank; raise hell and make that stupid (*^*)** regret.

Question:

1. Is he fooled by Agent For the Medical Request..
2. How can he verify that he actually get the email from the NDVO as there is just one line in ECAS.

Went to PSK was informed that PCC can only be provide once you have all the information on you passport correctly updated. Thus according to them, first I need to update my passport and apply for new one for my wife.

hope you are right.... am seeing PRO at regional office....

however is there any other authority(i.e. local police commissioner etc) who can issue PCC from their office.

Sometimes ECAS updates later .....

U can get assurance by confirmation from Medical center bcoz they will check the "IME" no. which has given on his medical form....

Medical guys will check that number and will recognize the applicant....

So u can suggest him to go for doing cic designated medical center which is written on the medical email....

I just analysed 2013 spreadsheet, its timeline says that maximum of NDVO passport request came in February-March even for early May applicants. I think it will happen same for this year as well.

Only few PPR were there in December

Indian Passport renewal Query

My wife's (principal applicant) passport is slightly damaged. We are currently in Chennai, but do not have any address proof. We can get passport from Telangana with my passport as address proof (It has our permanent address). Do you think this would lead to any problem in Canada PR as we would have different address on passport different with the addresses mentioned in forms? Please advise.

Issue a passport from your permanent address...(if it is same as damaged passport)
Do not disclose to PSK that your wife has been shifted with you she is still staying in your permanent address.
If there no change in address from old passport that you will get the new passport very quickly...

If you issue a new passport with new address than it will take time for PSK verification and documentation...for new address you need to have a government bank acc. passbook as a address proof...first open a bank account on your wife name in your present address and show passbook copy as valid address proof...

but according to me 1st option is the fastest one....best of luck...

I have been a lot worried about the mail that I am yet to receive.

My application reached on 09th June'14.
CC Charged: 26th Sep'14.
PER: 05th Oct'14
MR: ??
ECAS 2nd line update: ??

Already 52 days has passed and no update yet.
I don't understand what do I have to now?
This anxiety is killing me now.. I don't know if there are other applicants as well who are sailing in the same boat.

Actually we are suspicious about it because he is convincing that you should go to the doctor that we will recommend you.So how can we be sure that the doctor will scan and verify me.....I hope that you will be getting me what iam trying to say and the matter of concern...!!!

Firstly, you need only one PCC, from anywhere in India.
Secondly, if your wife has a freshly issued passport and if you can go to the same address and get the pcc for that location's PSK, then that would be easier, since you would get PCC on the same day. Regarding marriage/name change, this will not matter for getting PCC. But you can carry your marriage certificate along for their info.
