Hello everybody...
My app reached CIC on 21 aug 2014. I applied in NOC 2174. but till today i haven't got any mail from them.
What are the chances?

is there any way to contact CIC through mail or Phone no so that i can ask them about my file status.

guys a little help if possible

Passport office india says to avail PCC both primary and dependent applicants passport must have spouse's name..... is it mandatory or is there another way around it as have already applied and both our passports were issued before our marriage..... am not sure if applying fresh passport will be a good idea for both of us.... anyone in similar situation. also we are blessed with a baby which i guess will have to update to CIO once i get file no.

A Big thanks to the community.

I have received my PER and waiting for next step. Just wanted to know the below things
- Do we get any email from NDVO after they receive my file? Or they directly send an email for MR?NDVO doesnt send AOR
- Does MR request also contain a PCC request? Shall I go ahead and apply for PCC at passport office? Yes most of the members got RPRF
- I observed in FSW 2014 sheet that most of the people whose office is NDVO got their MR and RPRF on same day? I thought RPRF will come at the last stages where they make positive impression on file. My assumption is right? NDVO works mysterious

Below are my case details:
File received on : July 24th
CC Charged: Nov 7, 2014
PER received: Nov 18, 2014
NOC: 2173

I was thinking the same option that i fill the form walk-in and get it done on the same day since passport is not even one year old.

But my wife got the passport when she was not married, now while filling the form it asks for marital status if we say married then do they ask us to update the spouse name and address or it is our choice.

if they ask us to update then it becomes a big activity update each others passport so re-issue passport and then get PCC for both the places

If they ask us where u r currently located ? or do they even ask for that .. technically we have not stayed in blr for more than 6 months so we dont need PCC for that but for the other city in the another state cause she has stayed for quiet a few years.

Anybody who did the same or faced the same?

Firstly, you need only one PCC, from anywhere in India.
Secondly, if your wife has a freshly issued passport and if you can go to the same address and get the pcc for that location's PSK, then that would be easier, since you would get PCC on the same day. Regarding marriage/name change, this will not matter for getting PCC. But you can carry your marriage certificate along for their info.

I have a query....

I received MR and Passport Bio pages and RPRF request together on 14 Nov..

They have sent a cover letter that we have to send back with the asked documents. They have bulleted two things in it..MR and RPRF...and in all other emails also they hv not specificlly asked for PCC..
PCC sent with application was valid for 1 yr..i asked the police station..
I am confused as they hv not asked for PCC but the email has a link saying...how to obtain PCC from counteries asked..

What shud I do :-\


Candidates who have received PCC request please guide...Is it put in a separate bullet point in the Cover Letter ?
