I appreciate that and u r rewarded +1 for this.

Grace, how does it matter if someone gives -1 to you ? Myself and many others are receiving -1s regularly since the last 5-6 weeks now. :( :( :(
Don't be silent. There will be people who will appreciate your views and some people who will give -1s. It really should not matter. These +1s / -1s are not going to give us the COPR, right ? So voice your views openly.
Lets hope to hear more from you. :) :) :)

Hi Experts,

I need your help.

I had been to Canada in 2010-2011 on study visa. Had to under go the TB tests (sputum test), as there was some blunt found in the x ray. Due to which my visa then was delayed by four months.

I personally got my x ray done again and there is a blunt yet. Do I have to under go the TB tests again or will they consider the earlier tests and let it go this time.

Checked with my Dr. Post ultrasound realised there is no fluid. As the x ray report said pleural effusion. Due to which he is not ready to prescribe medicines. He says its probably is a patch of some infection that might have happened in the past.

Any advise as to how can I get rid of the blunt. Any suggestions are welcome.

moderators don't have time to regulate thousands of daily posts......I believe they don't even give imp to such level of mental backwardness....we can only try to make people understand that if the are going Canada....then its country of equal opportunity and equality....u just cant say every one senior or experienced or assume they are any better than u......u get +1 for rationale.

Oh well, real Canada awaits :D

Small correction: I heard one of the employers have been contacted for verification. So employer verification do happens but looks like very rare. 1 out of 100 may be if i am allowed to guess :)

hi DSRK,
Can you please clarify,
What stage the Employer was contacted?
before PER? before MR? before PPR?

It will allow us to understand how CIC is doing employer checks.

Document verification takes place before MR as per GCMS notes.

Employment verification is part of Background check. Most the time it is before issuing MR.

most probably....sadly.....u will have to go under those TB tests again.......they dont consider medical reports earlier than 8 months...and since its something which if comes positive can get apps rejected, so they have to verify again and for that u may go under testing, keep ur self mentally prepared and pray that it might not happen, but it will help u absorb the shock easily :D
