Note sure if this update has been already shared or not.

CIC has clarified that No more FSWP apps will be considered after 1st January. So all those in process of arranging docs, shud expedite and make sure its reached there by 31st Dec 2014.

Note: As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 25,500 for new federal skilled worker applications. This includes a cap of 500 applications from PhD students. There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer. These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015.
Sending more than one application does not increase your chances of being accepted for permanent residence. All eligible applications received before January 1st will be considered for processing based on current guidelines. Fees will be charged for each one.

Dear friends,

I hope this message finds you well and I wish all is fine.

I have a special inquiry regarding my FSW application and I want to directly contact CIC , to get their advice.

I searched their site but only found this address ( question@cic.gc.ca ) that replied automatically that I should contact through the website, where I didn't find any other Email address.

Thanks & kind regards

Hi to all,

Could any NOC 4011 applicants who have been charged or gotten PER share there reference letter please? Want to make sure we do it correctly and avoid rejection. How do you put the different contracts my husband signs early?

Thanks,

My husband applied to NOC 4011, CC charged, no PER yet. I don't have the reference letters in my mobile, I will try to send them later, thogh they have very simple lines since HR is very strict.
The 4011 basics are:
- Tittle matters; although in other NOCs it does not. The reference letter should contain tittle. If it is at least Ass. Prof then you are pretty much safe.
- If you are a lecturer, then description should be very much detailed. I don't know it's expectations very well. One thing I know is in many universities lecturers grading exam papers is a privilege so if you can, you should add it.
- Also if you are on a contract basis, add the number of lessons at each contact year, and undergrad/grad level info.

Good luck

Dear Friends,

Sharing an information that I noticed today, specifically for anyone applying now for FSWP 2014. CIC has updated the main form i.e. IMM0008 probably just a few hours back. This one doesnt have the column for specifying "Immigration office requested" so, anyone in process of filling the forms plz make note and use the latest version.

Thanks
Jamie.

Thanks for info

Please if a NOC is capped and one has not received PER MAIL or cash deduction, does it mean the application did not scale through?
Should the person forget about FSWP 2014 altogether

Yes, In most cases .. exceptions could be that your DD is on its way to encash.
