got my PER some 17hrs back. just received this response from the Canadian branch where my DD was sent to be encashed as a response for DD status

Diplo, This line has been newly added just yesterday on the CAPs page !! looks like a ministerial instruction is about to be issued and FSW14 may be cut short.

All eligible applications received before January 1st will be considered for processing based on current guidelines.

I have been a silent observer for the last 1 month.

Today, with god's will, I received the PER email.

App Date: 30 July 2014
VO: NDVO
DD charged: 10th Nov

Thanks to this forum for guiding me about the process and the timelines.

I had 2 questions:
1. What/when will be the next correspondence with the CIO?
2. What website can I enter my UCI # to confirm my application?

My APP CC charged on 15oct and I am waiting for my PER from last 30+ days

Yesterday I got my Client ID and check status online

Status shows In process........on click if further it shows we received your application on 25 th........

My question is does in process means I have achieved positive evaluation or it doesn't mean anything just a intimation that they received my application

Yes,that means your application was successful please.
That is your PER.

I want to know whether this update is the result of med. documents sent by me or its the online updation.

If there are no Ministerial Instructions, the program will go on to April 30th. But it sure looks like they will release a new instruction that explicitly ends the FSW2014 on December 31st.

Maybe on the same instructions that open the EE.

After seeing this update, even I feel that a new ministerial instruction will be issued soon

Or they can just terminate the backlog like they had famously done before. CIC is very unpredictable, so I wouldn't recomend taking chances.

Hi brothers and sister,

Congratulations to everyone who received PER, wish you will all come to Canada safe and sound very soon.

For my part, I've just received news that my application has been returned for the reason that my letter of reference did not "Your letter of employment must clearly give evidence showing that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement..."

I am very much confused as the LOR in my view is very clear and has mentioned substantial number of main duties...But there must be something wrong that I have not yet figured it out. My NOC is NOC 4011 University professors and lecturers and I am currently a lecturer for a Vietnamese University.

Even though time is running up, but many inspirational stories in the forum is encouraging us not to give up...

I included my Ref. letter below, I would be greatly appreciate it if you can review and give me some advices on why my LOR is not acceptable to CIC office. I would like to do my best and try to reapply when there is still a chance. (together with this Letter of Reference, I have included the Labour Contract-which does not mentioned clearly my duties-, as well as my in come tax receipt for the year 2013)
