hey guys

i have got PER on 13 novmber, my passport is about to expire in 6 months, and my wifes passport id not updated after marriage, so i am thinking of applying for new passports for both of us. can you please guide me about this, like should i renew my passport before passport request etc? so that they can stamp visa on new passport?
what if i get new passport just one day before medical request?

its never too late to do anything. i wish u wud have done this a long way back......at least b4 applying for immigration to avoid hassle at later stages like now.

anways,...u must update ur and spouse ID docs........make new passports as soon as possible. its not an issue whenever u recv ur passports......just inform ur VO about it that u r making new passports as they are going to expire in 6 months. when u get new ones......send the copies to ur VO. if u need anything else then VO will inform u for that and also advice u what to do and how. but atleast right now make the new ones asap.

I am a smoker and alcoholic... it will be create problem in my medicals .. or what should i do....
Please experience people share ur views .. should i avoid for few days.

I'm not much experienced in smoker or alcoholic so will let someone else answer your question.

dude love ur self and leave both things.........at least smoking......u dont want to regret in ur old age for the disasters it will do on ur health. pass a healthy life and try to leave these things asap. wish u health and wealth.

Any one knows or experienced about the application package return duration after Cap. Cap in 2171 updated on 21 Nov 2014, after how many days my application package will be returned by CIC.
