total app count on CIC website is shown 9242.........but if u add all individual apps per NOC...then it totals to 9860!.......a difference of 618 apps........is that a mistake or something in error? or does this means that when they updated the caps then there were 9242 apps received by 20-11-14.........and with in 23 days they have received 618 more apps.....!

6 months if nothing specifically mentioned. Any cross border Canada DD has a validity of 6 months unless specifically mentioned otherwise.

Yeah, I was doing a bit research on to which field should I opt for? based on budget, it seems MS may help me at least to get Canadian degree and later on in life I may decide for MBA.

Do I need to do any other exam like (IELTS/ TOFEL/ GRE/ GMAT) to get admission for MS? Or it can be waived? Any thoughts?

if u r applying as Permanent Resident then things are a bit easier for u....lower tuition fees, lower other fees.....many things are ignored...don't need ielts and other things.....but yes u might need gre for engineering.......depends on the uni. some waive off everything.

if u r applying as international student.......then life will sukk u.....u will pay double the fees....tuition and every thing....u will require academic ietls and have to attempt other tests as well.

u can make contact with uni and their concerned dept. they will reply ur every query and will satisfy u.

i have got PER on 13 novmber, my passport is about to expire in 6 months, and my wifes passport id not updated after marriage, so i am thinking of applying for new passports for both of us. can you please guide me about this, like should i renew my passport before passport request etc? so that they can stamp visa on new passport?
what if i get new passport just one day before medical request?
