Guys what does this mean???
Anyone else got same mail from ndvo???

Dear Federal Skilled Worker applicant or Provincial Nominee,

On behalf of the Government of Canada, the Foreign Credentials Referral Office (FCRO) at Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) would like to encourage you to attend the free orientation services offered by the Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP).

You, your spouse and your working age dependents become eligible to participate in CIIP when you are completing the application process for a Canadian immigration visa, usually at the stage where you have been requested to undergo your medical examinations, and security and background checks have been initiated. Please be aware that being eligible for, or actually participating in an orientation session, is not a guarantee or an indicator that your immigration application will ultimately be successful or that you will receive an immigrant visa.

The purpose of the CIIP orientation session is to help you understand how to use labour market information and how to get your credentials/qualifications assessed and recognized. You will also learn how to access local resources through Canadian partners who can help in your job search and in the settlement process. Immigrants to Canada who have participated in these sessions have described them as very important to their early labour market success.

Yes I have received the same Email and I am attending the session in Mumbai on 27th January.

Its good to attend this session to plan your career their incase you don't have a job already.

If you already have a job offer I guess you can ignore this.
Thanks
Hardik

CIIP services are offered in a number of locations in India, China, the Philippines and the United Kingdom. Services will also be available in other countries depending on demand, including Scandinavia, the Middle East and South East Asia. More information about service locations can be found at the CIIP website, www.newcomersuccess.ca where you can also register to participate in an orientation session. CIIP staff will require a copy of the correspondence you received from CIC, verifying your eligibility as a Federal Skilled Worker, or Provincial Nominee, or as a spouse or an adult dependent of the principal applicant.

The CIIP sessions are very popular and space is limited. We encourage you to register early to secure a spot in an upcoming session.

The FCRO also encourages you to visit our website, www.credentials.gc.ca where you can find additional helpful resources about working in Canada.

This is the same mail that you would have received along with your medicals. CIC is asking you to attend the CIIP Program so that you might get some insights into Canada before landing there. This is not mandatory. Most of them done with Medicals got this mail from NDVO and I hope they sent it in error. Instead of sending the Passport Request, they mistakenly sent this mail. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Guys, urgent help needed.

I am 8th Aug applicant (Payment mode - CC).

Nothing charged yet, no rejection email/package returned.

I see people charged till 20th Aug for the same NOC as I am - 2281.

Please advise, what should I do?

Write to cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca to enquire about your application. You can expect reply in about 45 days.

Recheck your documents and recalculate your points for more clarity of situation. Well you should not loose hopes as your file must be in process yet, we have seen many applicants got charged very late.

Stay positive and happy you'll have good news soon.

Good Luck

Hi buddy,
Substitued evaluation mean two things
1. Giving a positive evaluation though there is some point by which the case can be rejected --- very very rare indeed
2. Giving a negative decision even though all criterias are met ---
Lets say you cross 67 points, you have sufficient amount and langauge proficiency is good, age is ok, still you can get rejected based on the Visa officer's discretion called the "Substituted evaluation"
The only thing is that this does not happen often, because if there is any doubt in a VO's mind they will ask for further documents as proof. If you provide them, they will give a positive decision. In case of interviews they can give a substituted evaluation if the applicant cannot satisfy the VO with his answers. This is different from misrepresentation though. Misrepresentation ends in a 2 year ban. Substituted evaluation just gets the case rejected....

I got same understanding too....
Well done Bhaumik....Thanks

Nothing to worry here. You will get your MR soon. I am a 21st May applicant and I too got my MR 20 days after the 1st 21st May reported in forum. It will take time. Your application might be in queue for processing at the VO. Once opened you will get MR very soon.

I am done with my MR on 7th November but no ECAS update since them. But most of them reported an update in less than 10 days.

Hi Friends.

I called up my consultancy today and they informed me that there were two applicants from FSW2013 who were waiting for PPR from NDVO, Got the visa this week..Looks like 2014 applicants have to wait for long time...Thought of updating especially for people who are waiting for PPR.

All the best folks

Suji thanks for sharing...

If it is possible can you ask your consultant that what was the date or month of their application filled for FSW2013....this would realy help...

@parm,

pls refer to my comments in 'Red'

Good luck !

Dear Valued Members,

I had applied for FSW 2014 program in June. The details are as below :
Application Sent : 04-June-2014
Application received at CIO Sydney(NS) Office : 09-June-2014
Primary NOC 2011 Code: 2133
Calculated Points: 79

TODAY, I received my application back with the following remarks and updates :

1) ECA doesn't meet the following requirements " You did not provide us with a copy of the completed foreign education credential to accompany the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA Report)."

If I am not wrong then do I need to resubmit my application with a copy of my degree certificate & transcripts right.- RIGHT

2) Application got assigned with the UCI number. Is this a good sign ? USE IT IN ALL FUTURE PURPOSES

3) Do I need to fill all the forms again before sending back the application ? Or I can use back the same forms UNLESS THE FORM HAS BEEN UPDATED

4) My current PCC is about 6 months old now, so I need to send the new one or else I can send the same on CIO's request ? SEND THE SAME PCC

5) Will my application again going with the 120 days processing period ? WILL BE LESS AS HOT NOC'S ARE CLOSED

Looking forward for your valuable comments and advices to make the things right this time.

Thanks,

Regards,

Parminder
