Dear Members,

I am looking forward to applying under NOC 0112 (HR Manager)

I have made biggest mistake of my life and am cursing myself day and night.

I send my documents to WES on Nov 7 from Hyd through a registered Post and I was told it will be received by WES with in 8-10 days. Now its been 14 days and yet not delivered to WES.

I have tracked it and I understand its with Customs for review. Now the clock is ticking and I am desperate about applying under the current system since EE will favour those with an offer and in my view it will be tough to get a job offer without landing there especially for an NOC like HR.

Since I already have IELTS, employer letter and other documents ready and if luck favors me and I get WES report at my door by 20th Dec and I immediately courier the documents to CIC say the next day, now keeping Christmas hush in mind and other factors like closure of 2014 FSWP program etc....DO I HAVE ANY CHANCES TO GET A SEAT IN THE 2014 TRAIN...

Also please suggest some reliable courier services to send the documents to CIC since I would not like to mess up again..

Pleaseeeeee members let me know what you all think....I am caught up in this miserable sad feeling all the time ...Pour In Some Thoughts...thanks

congrats!

+1 for sharing HAPPY news! :D

So finally after waiting for 40 days got my medicals will update ss soon

noc :2173
visa office:NDVO
appl received on June 16th
PER:Oct 10 th
Medicals:20th nov

Just a little insight on whats up with CIC ...

1. Seems like CC charging and DD encashing has sped up .... CIC has gone past 1.5 months of applications in a little over 2 weeks... It is probably because three top NOC's got capped and they began ignoring those application post mid july ... Hence considerably lesser number of appliations/day to be processed...

2. In spite of CC charging speeding up, PERs have been coming around 115 days at best which is pretty close to the earlier stats .. 115-125 days as an estimate ... Seems like CIC doesn't plan to burden respective Visa offices with loads of work ....

Hope this sudden movement of CIC will push respective Visa OFfices to get their act together ..... I'm rooting for shorter processing times for VOs ... and especially for NDVO to begin rolling out PPRs ..... my dear freind Ruchil has been waiting for a long time ...

I've not been able to be regular on the forum off late but - COngrats to all who heard good news in the past week ...!!

This is informative program to give you an overall idea of Canada, its demography, work culture, job opportunities in your field and they also give you a personalized action plan. It is also good for establishing network with fellow future Canadians. Overall a good program, register yourself and attend.

Good Luck...

It is very good for new comers to Canada, they will help you choose a province to land etc etc. I have already been to Canada, still it was good as i found others who are also going and that too in my field only. They also connect us with their partners, help us to build our Canadian format resume reference letter etc.

Thanks.. :D ;)

So how's the weather in there bro.. Which state are you in. Is Calgary or the whole Alberta experience much worst in terms of winter than other states (Toronto, Vancouver)?

We would like to settle in Calgary in God's perfect time.. :)

I am in Toronto. Weather here is already -15C (with windchill) & the thing is winter just started.

Kind Attention 2133 & 2241 applicants,

I had applied under NOC 2173, Aug20th. But unfortunately its capped on 12thAug.
I am in the process of applying again under NOC 2133, as basically I am a Bachelor in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Can anyone please help me with the Duties of NOC 2133 sent and succeeded,so that I can ask my HR to get it in my Company letter head? I don't want to miss this second chance. Hope you understand.

Also I feel NOC 2241 is also cool. Can a Engineer apply under Technologist category?
My roles will be closer to 2133 & 2241.

Hi Neha,

You have to move on fast because very less time left to file the application. What i would suggest you to order an express delivery report from wes because it takes less time and after completion they deliver it within 3 days. And in the mean time fill all the forms and keep your all the documents ready. The day you will receive your wes report just send the application. Even not aware about the cap also. So be fast.

Regards

Actually we have received the same CIIP invitation mail along with medical request also. I would suggest everyone to do attend the session. Its quite useful to get familiar with Canada's provinces information, low-high cost cities, which location to choose for immigration depending on job requirement, and much more....

Me and my husband have already attended the session in October

i know its reasonably irrelevant .... Did you goto a Bschool ? if yes, which one ?

Yes..This was attached with the email and I just went through it.. As per the details in the attachment I found that it is not mandatory to attend but offcourse can be helpful.. I do not think that attending this session will have any impact in expediting the process but it would be benefitial for us as we will be moving to a new country with our family and land to a new place.. Although we get so many information and landing experience thru this forum or friends but CIC would have taken this initiative so that we should not face issues in settling down and finding job at the earliest after landing.. By the way an email to so many early may applicants clearly indicates that NDVO had prepared a batch and sent the email at once..I got it at 9.20 AM.. hope all all others also got at the same time.. so lets wait for PPR.. hope that will also be sent in a batch and this forum will be flooded with congrats soon...
