Hi experts,

I am a bit tensed now.

Till yesterday there was only one line in ECAS.
Suddenly today it says your file is processed on 17th Nov.

1. Why was it not updated on 17th? Is it a typo error?
2. Does it means that the background Verification is complete?
3. Checked my email, haven't recvd the MR. Is it normal?

You should recceive MR within a week of your ecas getting updated to second line.

Dear Valued Members,

I had applied for FSW 2014 program in June. The details are as below :
Application Sent : 04-June-2014
Application received at CIO Sydney(NS) Office : 09-June-2014
Primary NOC 2011 Code: 2133
Calculated Points: 79

TODAY, I received my application back with the following remarks and updates :

1) ECA doesn't meet the following requirements " You did not provide us with a copy of the completed foreign education credential to accompany the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA Report)."

If I am not wrong then do I need to resubmit my application with a copy of my degree certificate & transcripts right.

2) Application got assigned with the UCI number. Is this a good sign ?

3) Do I need to fill all the forms again before sending back the application ? Or I can use back the same forms

4) My current PCC is about 6 months old now, so I need to send the new one or else I can send the same on CIO's request ?

5) Will my application again going with the 120 days processing period ?


Looking forward for your valuable comments and advices to make the things right this time.

Yes this is your positiveness only as i got that request in around 20th September, already attended session, waiting for PPR.
Please keep your positiveness ultimately we all will receive our visas stamped.

I received the same today from NDVO!!!

I also received the same email.. Lets go to attend the CIIP Session guys who are based in Delhi.. I just checked the website and the location is Nehru Place.. Seems its a one day free session just to understand how can we settle better in Canada..... Also, this communication shows that NDVO is in action and we will be getting our PPR soon.. If this CIIP will fasten the PPR process then I would do it next week only 8)

Hi All,

I have sent proof of completion of medicals, RPRF and PCC to NVDO on Oct-22-2014. My ECAS status shows "Medicals Received". However, there is no update on RPRF or PCC. I checked with my bank and DD used for RPRF was en-cashed. I am sure that everything is received at the NVDO.

Did anyone send CSE to confirm these things from NVDO? Is it suggestible to do so?

Not required, that is a common update on ECAS. Since your DD is encashed, you can assume everything is good and you will receive PPR when NDVO starts sending them.

Also, would you tell me how many days it took for ECAS to update to 'Medicals Received' from the date you sent the documents to NDVO?

I sent on 7th Nov and still no update.

Actually we have received the same CIIP invitation mail along with medical request also. I would suggest everyone to do attend the session. Its quite useful to get familiar with Canada's provinces information, low-high cost cities, which location to choose for immigration depending on job requirement, and much more....

Me and my husband have already attended the session in October

Applied this year for noc 2173.
App sent 8 may
App received 26 may.
Ecas updated 13 sep.
PER received 16 sep 11:48 pm.
DD Encashed 9 sep.
MR request 19 nov 8:09 am.
PCC/RPRF request 19 nov 8:15 am.
2nd line updated 20 nov.

Will update the SS tomorrow.

I wish all the very best to the people waiting for their outcome.

Wish me luck for the remaining process.

I am a September 10th Applicant. Mode of payment : DD. When can I expect the DD to be encashed ? I have seen few posts where people directly get PERs without the acknoledgement of DD being encashed.

But as somebody mentioned he/she got this kind of email in September also, so I think this doesn't mean anything wrt PPR. But YEAH....to maintain positive mood....we can speculate

It is very good for new comers to Canada, they will help you choose a province to land etc etc. I have already been to Canada, still it was good as i found others who are also going and that too in my field only. They also connect us with their partners, help us to build our Canadian format resume reference letter etc.

My status got updated in 4 days from the date I've done my medicals.
However, it varies from applicant to applicant and its in the range of 4-15 days.
