Wow...

I am usually connected to my mobile network, or wifi. whichever is available. and my mobile is 24X7 switched on... very rarely it happens mobile battery is dead and it gets switched off...

Last night.. battery was too low and was crushing some candies...

Obviously mobile got switched off.. and am stuck in 350th level for a while.. got bored to continue playing with the charger on.. so left my mobile for charging through laptop charging which is quite slow compared to power point charging.. and since battery was completely dead.. i cudnt switch it on immediately...

I am a early morning person by nature and also my work demands... and thus was bit sleepy... and decided to take a power nap..

Power nap.. :) ended up being regular nap and din't wake up...

Later.. around 4 AM (IST).. i wake up.. realized my mobile is switched off.. how bad.. first thing.. switched it on..

guess what happens next.. My mobile internet is not behaving well... niether my wifi....

Felt like this is some sort of indication of my GOLDEN EMAIL...

Couldn't control.. switched off and switched on my mobile twice.. still internet doesn't work... i am getting crazy.. its all dark... tried to restart wifi router...

Finally... it worked... I am connected...

There... i receive a notification.. Two mails received...!!!!

i can't believe... Yes... its the mail for which i was waiting for so long... finally i am PERed :p

Application Received: 28th July 2014
DD Negotiated as per PER: 7th November 2014
DD Negotiated as per Bank(Until 19th November 2014): Negative Response
Bank: SBI - HUL Branch Bangalore - India
PER email: 21th November 2014

Good luck for rest of the guys are waiting for getting PERed.. for who is PERed to have successful PRed and for landing...

I will post again with the flaws i had in my application.. and also i will try and get an entry added to SS...

So how's the weather in there bro.. Which state are you in. Is Calgary or the whole Alberta experience much worst in terms of winter than other states (Toronto, Vancouver)?

We would like to settle in Calgary in God's perfect time.. :)

Hi All,

I just received the below email from NDVO (same mail ID from which I got MR/RPRF/PCC) and I understand this is an invitation for attending the CIIP
program. However, my concern is the below highlighted in red. So does it mean only after medicals is received background checks are initiated? Or is it security check that is initiated? But the mail mentions both security and background checks. I just want to understand this because I can have some estimate on when PP request would come.

Did anyone else receive such mail? If so, at what stage?

Thank you for all the help.

Dear Federal Skilled Worker applicant or Provincial Nominee,

On behalf of the Government of Canada, the Foreign Credentials Referral Office (FCRO) at Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) would like to encourage you to attend the free orientation services offered by the Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP).

You, your spouse and your working age dependents become eligible to participate in CIIP when you are completing the application process for a Canadian immigration visa, usually at the stage where you have been requested to undergo your medical examinations, and security and background checks have been initiated. Please be aware that being eligible for, or actually participating in an orientation session, is not a guarantee or an indicator that your immigration application will ultimately be successful or that you will receive an immigrant visa.

The purpose of the CIIP orientation session is to help you understand how to use labour market information and how to get your credentials/qualifications assessed and recognized. You will also learn how to access local resources through Canadian partners who can help in your job search and in the settlement process. Immigrants to Canada who have participated in these sessions have described them as very important to their early labour market success.

CIIP services are offered in a number of locations in India, China, the Philippines and the United Kingdom. Services will also be available in other countries depending on demand, including Scandinavia, the Middle East and South East Asia. More information about service locations can be found at the CIIP website, www.newcomersuccess.ca where you can also register to participate in an orientation session. CIIP staff will require a copy of the correspondence you received from CIC, verifying your eligibility as a Federal Skilled Worker, or Provincial Nominee, or as a spouse or an adult dependent of the principal applicant.

The CIIP sessions are very popular and space is limited. We encourage you to register early to secure a spot in an upcoming session.

The FCRO also encourages you to visit our website, www.credentials.gc.ca where you can find additional helpful resources about working in Canada.

Hey

Today I read that the 1112 cap is completely filled.

What does this exactly mean?
Since my application is under process since Sept 8, waiting for MR. Would this have an effect on my application?
