Is there any other way to get it from Canada ? is it safe to give passport to BLS? He cant get it through Indian embassy in Canada?
Anyone who got indian PCC from BLS this year?

BLS is the agency who handles all work for the Indian embassy. There is no problem in handing over you PCC application to them.

Here in UAE also they are the agency managing all pas sport and visa related work on behalf oh the embassy.

Hi,

As per CIC, if you have worked in the specified occupation(matching job duties) for any 1 year then you are eligible to apply. So dont worry about your desgination instead see under which level most of your job duties matches with what's listed on the NOC.

You will definitely need a reference letter from your employer listing all the responsibilites and duties you held during your tenure.

There is no specific format as such for reference letter. Just make sure its on Company letter head with Employer name, website information, contact number and it should be signed by your HR or supervisor. Please refer to •Instruction Guide [IMM EG7000] . What listed on this guide is what you need to do.

I have applied in noc 1111 and would like to send BCs which i have just recd for myself and spouse as additional dox, i will send thru courier and also email it to them, now my query is that my father's name which has been correctly spelled in the 10th marksheet and BC has been mis-spelt on the passport. Shall i mention this fact in the covering letter of the additional dox and give reason that when i get my passport renewed i will have my father's name corrected? Pls advise.

Where do you want to send these additional docs? to CIC? If you have already submitted your 10th class marksheet and it has your parents and your dob clearly mentioned then you dont need to send additional docs. If at all your not sure of the docs you have sent, then you can send the addendum documents(Birth certf) to CIC. I am not sure about your other q of mis-spelt name of parents. But i suppose a cover letter for that should be fine.

Yes minor spelling mistake can be clarified with the help of cover letter.

I'm just not sure how things will go now down the line and have a few questions. Maybe any of these questions is only up to an officer to judge but any input is highly appreciated.

1. Before charging the credit card, what kind of assessment they do in order to charge the credit card? Only if the applicant is still under the cap?
2. If I got charged does it mean I'm in the 1000 cap?
3. Is it after I get the PER that I can apply for the BWOP?
4. Usually how long after the credit card charge I'll find out if I'm a PER or NER?
