not only principal but dependants as well... every non-original (photocopy) you attach should be notarized as a requirement mentioned on CIC website...

Friends who have send their medical and RPRF, i have one question?

Yesterday I had my medical exam. They told me that the medical will be send by them online within friday,that is tomorrow and one copy will be send to me on mail by next wednesday. . I also made bank draft of 53,400 for me and my spouse.
Now i want to know that do i also have to send the separate medical that i will receive on mail within wednesday or shall i send my RPRF bank draft, along with bio page of passport and the request letter they have send to me??????

Every Photocopy Must be attested as per Guide 7000

"Certified true copies

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:

the date of the certification,

his or her official position or title, and
his or her signature.


Who can certify copies?

Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:

In Canada:

a commissioner of oaths (authority to certify varies by province and territory)
a notary public
a justice of the peace


Outside Canada:

a judge
a magistrate
a notary public
an officer of a court of justice
a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living
Family members may not certify copies of your documents."

Only in case the originals are not in English/French.

no Diplo... in that case you need to submit an affidavit for translated copy sworn by the translator and duly notarized...

Hi Guys , i have already paid my rprf fees online should i send my RPRF receipt and passport copies to NDVO or wait for my medical which is in few days and send alongwith?
I would also like to know on which address i should send the documents and what exactly documents should be send and what details to write on the envelope?

no Diplo... in that case you need to submit an affidavit for translated copy sworn by the translator and duly notarized...

No. Stop misguiding people please.

This section refers only to translated docs. In this case an applicant provides affidavit + CERTIFIED TRUE COPY.

Plain copy is totally ok for anything else that is not TRF, ECA, PCC if the original is in English, French. End of story.

This is again a confusion, which copies need to be attested and also is affidavit is mandatory for document copies translated from Non English or French document.

But i have submitted all photocopies attested by Notary

may be that time due to Tension i must not have read properly

You dont need to attest the copies which are in English or French.

It won't do any harm of course. But please double-check before posting any statements that can invoke a heart attack in an applicant.

The above is applicable only if your original document is not in English or French then you need the translation with original attested.
