I mean how we could know they "opened" 1000 packages but not 800 or, even lower, 600?
The numbers updated on official site does not seem to be reliable. I bet next update we'll see a sudden jump for 2132 and 2171 from 5XX to 1000.

Well, at the least, to be counted towards CAP, a package has to go through completeness check.

To go through completeness check, the package must be 'opened'.

Hence, if the CAP updates reflect completeness check, then 1000 applications have been 'opened' thus far.

Off-course, i hope you will agree that there is nothing concrete to suggest how CIC works till the time an applicant receives PER.

If anybody from Punjab can tell me the procedure for PCC , Like I got married 11 months back and I don't have any residence proof for my spouse. And marriage certificate is not acceptable.

Anybody here who faced the same issue. please suggest

Get PCC from your native palce or apply through PSK

I see that you have received AOR. Therefore "your file is pending officer's review" means that it is currently undergoing background checks (theoretically at-least) after which an interview will either be waived (most-likely) or scheduled, following which MR request will be raised.

My friend...

from my experience (PSK - Ahmedabad) they asked for a common bank passbook where my and my wifes name is shown....so u can do one thing....add your spouse name in a common bank account and take it as a proof of residence at PSK...]

Though confirm with PSK before you take this step, as if it is valid or not.....

Designation as mentioned in your employment records and as listed in your work reference letter

Whats Resume Attached?? You need duties from your company HR or supervisor on company letterhead and not resume. Did you attach those along?

regarding work experience letter

deal all,
I telecommunication engineer (Electrical&electronic bachelor's degree) i have 12 years experience, the first 6 years i worked as operation and maintenance engineer in a mobile system and the other 6 years i was wireless manager department. my Reference letter from my company descried the two intervals main duties , however some of the main duties described in the noc 2133(electrical and electronic engineers) i was doing while i was a manger, as a result the main duties required for noc 2133 are divided into the two intervals (maintenance engineer&manger engineer). After reading your posts and how cic reject many files cos of experience letters i am getting too scared that my file will be rejected. I was thinking of sending another reference letter with more accuracy regarding the job duties. what do you recommend me seniors,, please help
