Designation does not matter. It is your job description mentioned on the work reference letters on company letterhead that matters and should be a match to the NOC your are applying.

Most probably September apps are through completeness check and applications of Week 1 & Week 2 would probably be in queue for charging.

Eye sight issues were major for medical--thats what is my observation.....

So I dont think u need to worry much.....

Hello team, I am so grateful to this forum and the members and all contributors within and also happy to announce that i received my PER yesterday evening but didn't check my mail until 5:00am today Nigerian time.

Application received 7th July
Addendum for original of my WES sent and received 9th of september
I forgot to include document checklist
Original affidavit for birth certificate did not contain parents name so I sent another which was included in the addendum received on 9th September
DD encashed as per PER email on the 23rd of October
PER received on the 18th November

praise God and I wish all of us luck in the journey ahead.

1) My boss is reluctant to give reference letters for my current job role and responsibilities. Can I submit an affidavit stating my duties and responsibilities? Will an affidavit suffice for duties and responsibilities? I will also attached my joining letter and bondafide letter proving than I am an employee of this company.

PER received: 09th Oct
MR and RPRF request: Today, the 19th of Nov

NOC category: 1112

I have a doubt. My Online status isnt updated yet. Only the first line is updated. Did it happen for anyone else? How much time does it usually take to get updated?


Also, Seniors, can you please update my status in the spreadsheet.

U can take with ur any known supervisor/colleague ....


Accumulated Suggestion :

"1) Please descibe the reference letter with your NOC on a white A4 paper and get it acknowledged by your supervisor.
2) Take a copy of photo I'd (company tag photo id) of your supervisor of your company...get it signed by him on it and do attestation
3) Get a service letter from your employee stating you have worked from so and so time with your designation
4) provide an affidavit supporting why you are not able to provide the reference letter in company letter head and attach the service letter provided along with this
5) Submit appointment letter (if exists)
6) Submit Payslip (if exists)
7) Business card of applicant (if exists)

I sent them a mail on the CIO generic email address. I explained my case in that email. The visa officer who replied, was understanding and asked me to resend my application.

Self-affidavit wont be considered. Why don't you try getting it from a senior or colleague if Manager is not cooperating. Just attach email from HR stating that they cannot provide any such reference letter and also, attach the visiting card & contact details of the colleague who have signed your job & responsibilities affidavit.

should not be a prob as your eye sight can be easily corrected with glasses.

only things that cause problems in medical exams are communicable diseases like HIV and serious problems which will pose a threat to Canadian population or put too much burden on Canadian health services.
