A friend of mine who isn't on this forum is done with her MR and has sent her pcc, rprf etc to NDVO via courier.

She forgot to mention her USA Student visa rejection while applying, simply an oversight.

What should she do now?

Is it advisable to just send a CSE to NDVO with an apologetic note and attaching the revised form and also email the same to NDVO? Will that now affect her chances of receiving a PPR call?

Or should she simply do nothing?

Kindly assist her with her dilemma as it was purely an oversight with no intentions of any misrepresentation.

Sir, as per my suggestion one received MR request only when background checks get over. I would assume, at the time of that check that thing has already been seen by NDVO. Better to sit calm and wait for PPR.

BTW, is there any column in forms where we need to mention any rejection for visas. My wife also got rejections of USA visa in 2009 but we did not mentioned any where, currently I m also waiting for PPR, and I had not disclosed that fact, as it was not asked for particularly.

Below are my timeline:

Application : 5th June 14
CC charged : 23rd Sept 14
PER: 2nd Oct 14
Second line: Started process on 13th Nov, Updated on 16th Nov
Medical: 18th Nov 14 ; 10:23 AM

They have also asked for Passport Bio pages(Dont no what that means)
They have also sent info about CIIP(Is everyone receiving that?)

Points to be noted:
1) I broke all my FD's right after sending my application, and transferred them to my spouse's name.
2) No one was contacted in my HR/Supervisor.
3) I sent my Pay slips/ITR/Form 16/appointment/appraisal letters/ apart from ref letter


Let me know if anyone has any generic questions.

It is asked particularly in the form...
As far as I know, Criminality checks etc happen after MR stage, and Canada and USA have an agreement to share immigration databases, primarily to check asylum and other cases, but I'm sure this studen visa rejection will crop up during that check...

Ohk...I have not share any of this kind...as I have filled my form in May and had not found any pointer of this kind, where we need to mentioned such information.

I have US B1/B2 visa (valid till Sep'2016) on my current passport. I am applying for passport renewal as current passport will expire in July'2015.

Will I lose my US visa ?

Have quick question.

Passports of my wife and me, are not updated with Spouse details and i have marriage certificate.

While filling spouse details in application should i use post marriage surname or details as per passport.

I'm confused .... please help.

No...u just need to carry both passport on ur next travel..They will transfer the visa to the new passport at destination

No...you have to carry old passport till visa expiry alongwith you while travelling to USA...

Hi

I got my request for update and Medical on 1 oct.
my Medical sent on 3 Nov by doctor and they updated my ECASE by medical result have been received on 7 Nov.
I sent my requsted documents such as PCC, CV and RPRF on 10 Nov. by Courier; but till now there is no line indicating PROCCESSING STARTED has appeared in my ECASE.
my application is in Paris VO. do you think guys it is normal?
