I had sent an email inquiry on 26th sept with reference to my application which was received on 19th Aug. I had sent additional documentation of my wife's BC to be added to the application. Here is the response:

I can find no record of our office having received the birth certificate via mail as of yet. Your file is undergoing initial processing, unfortunately due to the large volume of application we cannot guarantee that documents sent independent of an application will be matched to that file prior to the assessment or return of that office. I have sent your email to be added to our records.

Should I be worried? The only consolation I can get from the above is that my file is still with CIO. Please advise!

Seniors, please i have six years continious employment in my relevant NOC but in between that and my present job(JAN 2012 TO DEC 2012), i was unemployed for 11 months. is it going to affect my application?

regards

Hello Friend,
It will have no impact. The requirement is to have minimum 1 year experience in NOC you are applying.
You are very much eligible.

Good luck with your app.

Cheers,
Vick

Dear Forum Family/Friends/experts

One more query

I have receiver PER on November 11, 2014 (July 16 applicant). My passport will expire in March 2015. I am expecting medical request by Jan 11, 2014. I may renew the passport before i get the MR.

My quesries are:

1. Should i apply now for passport renewal or after MR?
2. Do i need to inform CIC / VO or to both?
3. If i do need to inform both, form of communication should be post / email / both?
4. Will require addresses (postal/email/both) too pls? if i do need to inform them

Has always and will appreciate your support.

Looks like they are ok with the documents you have submitted and currently being processed. Hence, no need to worry and wait for good news!! You can always send the documents to local vo during further processing.

Good Luck!!
