Dear fellows I have sent the additional docs requested by LVO today, it should reach by tomorrow, any idea how long will they take for the next correspondence. ..

Since it is a masters degree there won't be any problem of getting it evaluated from WES. But make sure that your university/institution is registered with WES otherwise you will receive the report with a statement "non accredited institution" and won't be able to claim points for it.

sorry to say but WES are real S H I TT Y and A HO LE people.....when u applied for evaluation, I forgot to check that one of my institute was not listed on WES list of recognized institutes......now what they did was......returned my app stating this same reason but after FOUR months!....that was in 2013.....I was 2174 applicant and due to their delay I was left to wait another year cos cap got filled. in those FOUR months they didn't bother to reply/inform me on email or anywhere that due to this reason they cant process my app. if they would have done that, I would have applied to CES for evaluation. but NO they were sleeping and what they did was just returned the app after sitting on it for 4 months. they don't respond to ur email before 6 business days.(two more months later they refund me the full fees after deducting the courier charges!......I would not thank them on this cos that doesn't mean anything to me as my one whole year was wasted due to them)

after that I applied to CES......1stly they are better people than WES........they respond your queries within 3 business days, they will keep u informed on each and every step of ur evaluation, they don't just recognizes pea sized institutes......they recognize a much larger number....my app was processed within 29 days.....WES evaluation is for worldwide but CES is for Canada only so I believe CES works much faster cos it only has to process it for Canada not for whole of the world.....its inside Canada so CIO/CIC very rapidly do the background checking on credentials if and when required rather then contacting WES in US!

Guys,

I have sent the original IELTS of myself and my spouse to CIO with the application and don't know the status of the application yet.

Now I need the 2nd copy of IELTS from British Council for Express Entry.British Council is saying that they need the email from CIO that they have received the 2nd copy of IELTS. Then only they will provide me the another copy. Bit I takes CIO 45 days to respond any email.

Any idea is welcomed how to get the another copy of IELTS.

uk PCC, further evidence of relationship with relative ( sister) in Canada, some explanation, new background declaration form & they attached a form with the email which I had to fill...

Attn: Receiver of FBI report.
Can any of the applicant, who received FBI report, can tell me how many days it took to receive FBI report?
CIC form tells that it should take 21 days. I applied on 4th November, still they did not charge my CC.

hmmm ok. I was just asked for PCC and an email form. no new background declaration was asked. thanks for the info.

Of course it is necessary. Maybe you can email him the form so he can complete and sign and mail it back to you at the soonest.

i want to pay my application fee by credit card of my friend as he is ready to give all his credit card details but right now he is outside india for a month is it necessary for him to sign for his credit card detail in the form?

I don't know what's wrong with this guys.. When I tried to check the status of my DD, they said there is no way to check it.

Check with srvmh. He used IndusInd DD and was able to track the status of DD.

Also refer to srvmh's post on page :8951. Hope it helps.

I got DD from Indusind bank. I asked them to check the status of DD. They told me that there is a fee of $30 for checking the status of DD.

Is there anybody who got the status checked of DD from Indusind bank?

Current processing time for FBI report is at least 12 weeks after submission.

hello guys,

i really don't know whats happening.

app was received on July 14, 2014, CC charged on October 30, 2014, ECAS first line updated on November 7, yet to receive PER mail, just checked ECAS now and can't view the first line update anymore.

i'm really really worried.

whats happening.
