I am 4th July Applicant and received my PER on 30 Oct. My Visa Office is London. My kids passports are expiring Dec 2015 so intent to get them renewed before medical request. My sons name as per passport had an error such that the first name was spelled as surname and the surname as the name. I want to rectify this, however, all the immigration forms filed with CIC required names to be input as per the passport, therefore, while filing application had input the names as required.

My concerns are:
1) I know that i will have to send them copies of the new passports before medical request. Would like to know the address of LVO and whether to send them through email or via courier? and also should send them unsolicited or when LVO solicits?
2) Most importantly will it be an issue with LVO if i rectify the name in my sons passport just like the way it should be?

Kindly help me on this.

Hi guys. When I look at the 2014 Global Spreadsheet under "Avg Process Time" I need some clarification.

My VO is Vienna. So why does it say 82 days on average in column "PER to Processing Started" and 69 days in "PER to Medical Request"? Shouldn't that be reversed?

I know it is hard to predict. I am a 30th of June applicant and received PER on the 24th of October. When should I expect my MR?

Hi Everybody,

NEED YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND HELP...

I have received my PER already my file is currently with NDVO and waiting for MR request as of now...

I have been working in my current organisation since last 10 years, and also in my application i have provided documents for this company, this is the Job and organisation i have been since my Post graduation.

Now in case my current organisation has decided to close down its operations (company is shutting down), so i will have to resign from my current organisation as on of before the date of closing down, and I have no new job offer in my hand as of now, probably will try to get one or planning to wait for Canada PR visa which may be 2-3 months at most, so also thinking for landing in canada and finding my next job in that case i would be unemployed till that time.

Please suggest what should i do..

1) I have to inform NDVO regarding this progess in my professional life, so if I inform them regarding my company shutting down what would be there reaction to it..
2) Also I would not be able to provide them with my new employment offer as i dont have any as of now (would it carry any negative repercussions on my file or my processing)
3) Also my company and office would be closing down so if NDVO wants to cross verify about my work experience they would not be able to do that bcoz company and office would be closing down so there would nobody to answer of verify them...
4) I am strongly thinking of getting 3-4 months of rest and wait for my Canada PR and start my new job search in canada itself, so if i do not get job in next 3 -4 months would that carry any negative on my file processing in NDVO..

Anybody who can put there thougths on above matter would be helpful....Thanks...

Can anyone please provide some information on the time-line to receive PER email after CC has been charged? Also, could anyone please provide the email account to expect from which the PER email will be sent out? I have heard cases where the PER email gets directed to the SPAM folder. I want to make sure I keep a track of it.

It means some applicants get MR very soon. So their average is low. However there are some applicants who got 2nd line after longer time and still remained in this stage. When those person will get MR, the average for PER to MR will go up. So eventually at future, PER to MR will go up.

Also there are some rare incidents where MR is received before Processing started.

Note that, this tab is not forecasting but average actual values.

PS: Currently not able to access spreadsheet in excel mode so did not check anything. The above is based on my understanding.

Seniors can you verify if this is true? Feeling worried. My husband only has a 4 years bachelors degree. Our country doesn't ask for masters to be a lecturer or professor and he is a culinary arts professor or lecturer.

My friend already got CC charged and he has four years bachelor with one year MA degree. From earlier FSW my colleagues got PR with 3 years Bachelor and one year MA degree. I dont think this would be matter as long as you have ECA report.

What are these CIC people doing with the CAP update???
Why aren't they taking it seriously as many people rely on this update.
They updated 2173 as cap reached @1000 but the total number of applications remain@8101 also 1113 noc@0.
It's really awful and misleading.
These people are crazy.
