I am a July 18 applicant under category 2171. My DD was encashed on November 4 according to the review.

I am using a different name in the spreadsheet and will update my record later.

NDVO vs LVO

initially ndvo showed a real pace and speed...started issuing mr, pcc, rprf (one of them, all of them or in any combination) as early as August 2014...and people were happy (my indian mates) and also people were sad and jealous as well (the LVO mates including me ). now the current development is...the guys who got these request back in august 2014...they are waiting desperately for 2nd call of ppr and latest speculations suggest that ndvo will start sending those in Jan 2015 after resuming work from upcoming Christmas holidays (probably from Dec 20 2014 till Jan 4 2015). so a pretty looooong wait for those guys (from aug till jan = 5 months!), its longer then what it took them to get PER and MR calls.

comparatively LVO was 1st in hibernation or in deep dead sleep till early sept 2014....but then started to show some signs of life....then it started to show pace by oct 2014....now most of LVO mates have already got MR,rprf and pcc......and and and believe me 4 to 5 applicants from Karachi and 3 to 4 from middle east have already received PPR requests (not me yet, I m not that lucky, still waiting to have PPR call)! yes they do....I have already mentioned it in my previous posts.

initially people were scolding LVO...and praising NDVO, now I m hearing voices about why ndvo is doing slow.

I believe all the VOs take almost roughly same time to issue PR visa, initially some VOs can go fast and some can start very late......in the middle the things can change (like they have for these 2 VOs), in the end all applicants get the visa around the same time (like if ndvo issues ppr in jan, then people can get back their passports by end of jan or early feb....roughly same time LVO applicants will take to get except for these some early lucky guys).

so guys just calm down and relax, we don't know how CIC works, how CIO works, how each VO works, we can just guess their working methods and patterns. immigration is game of waiting and waiting with patience and prayers. keep hopes high and keep praying. we all will succeed (some early some late). I wish us all good luck.

this is purely my assumptions and guess work, in no way to offence anyone or to prove someone is at advantage or disadvantage.

I saw your below post and wanted to know some details my application was reached CIC on 28th July under 2174 NOC code and 2 days back (on 10/11/2014) I received a letter ( from CIC > CONSULTANT > ME) saying my application has not got into CAP. But when i checked the google docs, it should be in cap. Do you think was there any miscommuncation or any other? Appreciate your quick reply and help. Thanks

Just wanna share this for 2173 - August applicants (to give hope and inspiration)...


I was able to talk with a fellow Pinoy in FB group and he has same experience as mine. He was a 2174 - June 20 (DD mode) applicant. When 2174 reached 1000 capacity, he got worried because last charging was June 19 and he didn't know the status of his application if included in the 1000 cap. After 2 weeks, he emailed LVO (Manila - VO) to inquire about his status and had known that his application is already In-Transit to the Visa Office. Also, he got his UCI number.

As per conversation with him, the update for 2174 (Oct 10 - with June 19 as last charged date) even reached the date of July 4 applicants. This means that August applicants has hope for PER as long as no problems with the documents.

I am an Aug 13 and the last charge date for 2173 is Aug 12. I hope this helps to all 2173 who's like me a worried pal. Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin Tongue

Sorry to hear about your application. In my view, maybe you really didn't able to catch the cap. As per conversation I had with a friend, 2174 reached July 4 applicants only, thus if your docs received was July 28, I think you really didn't make it. In regards to the global SS, better if you could ask the forum member who was able to be make it to further understand their experience/details. I hope this helps. Thanks.

Till now whatever predictions i have made, have actually came true. This is simple analysis of through observation of SS updation, CIC cap updation, CIC's cap updation time & work pattern, Applicant's information in this forum(which is more then valuable). For example a July 28th applicant reported his rejection news that he received from CIC based on his email of an enquiry about his application. And that was i think 2nd/early 3rd week of last month. And i think a week later an August applicant, ummm i think August 14, has reported his application status as RECEIVED(Informed by CIC). Application received means his application passed the completeness check and he is eligible for charging & PER.

So basically based upon all the information i have seen and from my personal experience with the CIC i do my assumption/analysis. August applicants your application completeness check have been done by last month and CIC i think already completed or in the process of completing the September applicants.

After completeness check

Will they assign UIC number to incomplete application ? as yesterday I called them and they said we dont hold any data under your name...

My app date : Aug 28th 2014.

That's not true. I applied in FSW2013 but my application was returned due to cap. I got my UCI number from the cover letter that they have sent with my returned package.

Cap reached applications are not assigned UCI.

today he got visa stamp on his passport. And he posted pic to our wts app grp. Its really amazing and he got 6 months validity to land in canada. This is surprizing. I m out fr work.Will answer ur query once i wil get back to.my place

For what amount we have to make DD in INR to pay RPRF. Is online payment is ok for NDVO ie we pay on CIC website and attach recipt with other docs. Pls somebody who got confirmation after paying online intimate this.

I am new to this forum. Just submitted my application under NOC 1224. My Application reached on November 10, 2014. I am bit worried as I am not sure if I have signed on FEE PAYMENT form.

Kindly advise if anything I can do now ??
