As 2173 is capped, shall I go ahead and close all my FD's, so that I can use this money for some other purposes...

I have emailed them on 2nd November but it will take forever to reply. Do they provide application status over phone? If yes, could you please let me know the number and suitable time to call.

you should try several times and please don't tell them that you want your status. ask them to inform you if they have your file there or not. then try to capture UCI#. A net admin is here beside you. best of lucks pal.

I think you would be in cap, that shouldn't be an issue, yes hold on if you have raised a query, you might hear back soon

I think I had a narrow escape in losing 2173. It's showing 1000 application.
Thanks God my CC charged on 10th Nov, 30th July applicant. Waiting for PER email, till then hanging between YES or No.

I have one doubt. If someone has degree in Mechanical engineering and work experience (total) in Software industry, can eligible for applying under categories like 2173, 2172, 2171, etc.?

Could someone through some light on this as i am preparing for EE 2015.

Yes, she/he should apply under IT industry b'cos she/he got total experience in IT field. There is no completion that a mechanical guy shouldn't work in IT industry. For your information if you are applying now i would suggest to apply under 2172 other than this NOC will not workout this year.

I've heard of evidences that ECAS status changed to: we received your application at ... a couple of days before PER email.

One of my friend have UCI number (from 2010) and his application was reached on 24 September, So once
completeness check is done can he check in the ECAS about the same ??

if the UCI is issued after J26(J means June or July) 2010 then he may check it...
