1st application - noc 2132 (no update from cic till date)
2nd application - noc 2232 (preparing my documents now)

Would this be possible as my job duties fall on the same noc?
I have not received my 1st application back so i'm on plan B.

Hi Seniors,
Their was an updation by CIC few hours back, seems that NOC2173 is also got capped 1000.
I'm August 25th applicant for 2173, really very tensed and worried that,
Is my application out of the race or in the CAP?
Please guide

oh damn!! Why is CIC playing with us like this. 5 days back count was 700 and now it is 1000
I am hoping 2173 applicants will get charged atleast until end of august.
and i was guessing there would be one month gap between 2173 capping and 2171 capping..which means 2171 should get charged atleast until end of Sep.
yeah i know..i am just being too optimistic to ensure i am within cap..but that is the only thing i can do now

CIC has returned one application because of missing BC.
Applicant provided Indian Embassy issued Birth Certificate so it's clear that they don't accept Indian Consulate issued BCs.

Anyone who is planning to send Indian Consulate issued BCs, please do not send it alone, if you have to then attach High School certificate/marksheet along with it.

guys my cc statement showing pending transaction $ 1100 from citizenship .what does pending means ? if approved y show pending ? thanks

I had the same pending for 2 days and then it was confirmed so dont need to worry. it is pending untill the amount is cleared.

But I think not all of them...only those opened, and after that capped. The unopened ones will be returned as is..

Ah! seems that no one could predict anything regarding the cap, but it is really strange and alarming if we suppose Noc 2171 has reached the cap by 27 August. that means a sudden jump from 553 to 1000 = 447 new applications received only within August! A gigantic number! If this trend continues, then no wonder if we see the following 3 or 4 popular professions on the list reaching their caps by the end of September or early October!

I am 21st May applicant and received PER on 15th Sep but not received MR yet....is it normal or it will take some more time, plz suggest....

Hi, I have a query. Is the application counted into the cap after completeness check and before getting charged?

I am an Aug 19th applicant for NOC 2173 and my mode of payment was a certified cheque from Canada which means immediate encashing.

Just wondering if I would have made into the cap as some of the posts say all August applicants under NOC 2173 have fallen into the cap..

It is early to worry. CIO is still working on July files, though they started fees processing for August applicants but only those of NOC 2171, 2173. August applicants of other NOCs are waiting and yet to be charged, so your turn will come soon. If you pay by CC, it may be charged within one or two weeks. Good Luck!

Application sent last may 28
DD negotiated = sept 24
Email from visa office for additional doc = nov 10
PER thru mail = Oct 15 ( date in the letter) letter received this morning

Happy to inform you that i received hard copy of PER through post office last week. Letter was dated 15 Oct 2014 and it was mentioned that "the email address i provided could not receive correspondence".

Just as a reminder of the case.
Application received on 12 JUne 2014
DD Cashed on 3 Oct
Hard copy of PER dated 15 Oct 2014.

One question now??? can i know the details of the medical exam we will now be asked to go through? What does it consist of : Blood Test? ECG?BP?Urine Test? Xray?weight. height? eyesight?
My visa office is Pretoria.Can i know how long i would have to wait to receive the next letter from CIC for the medical exam and do we receive it by post office or email?

Blood pressure.. General eye checkup.. Height. Weight measure.. Urine test.. Blood test for HIV.. Chest x-ray for tuberculosis. General Doctor checkup.
