Is it specifically mentioned? If not then it is 6 months by default for all international DDs.

There is nothing as such mentioned on the DD, but was wondering about its validity. If it is 3 months, my case is just gone.

I am 18-Aug, DD, NOC-2173.

Don't worry..wait for a week and your CC will be charged by next week.

I'm yet to receive the package. I'll also like to know if a bankdraft of USD can be in the same CAD amount be used.
Awaiting your reply, and thanks.
Below is the email.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 22 Oct 2014. It was deemed incomplete due to a payment issue. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

We do not keep detailed records of each application returned so I am unable to provide more case specific details.
Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.
