SENIORS PLS

Self Calculated pts just on 67.
Pls advice if years spent studying and working are counted towards experience ( Example, as a Seaman. first 8 mths at Schl and 4mths at sea ALL IN SAME YEAR, then back to Schl again and .......like that for 2.5yrs, but getting paid from same employer all through till now). Will my experience also be counted till the date which my app wld be accessed, as I am still employed by same employer and left it open that way.

Second Question is My intended Occupation requires Licensing in Canada (From TRansport Canada, but then I have to be a PR or Citizen to be able to get the license). I didnt mention this thou, but all docs shows my line of job. Hope i will not have some probs with my app?.

Thanks to all Seniors that wld ans in advance.

Dear Seniors,

For claiming the points of Adaptability factor, you need to provide an evidence for the proof of residency. My uncle is really old enough. I'm only able to get his Health card issued form Ontario's health care system. His health card shows the Name of my uncle ( who is a Canadian citizen ) and his full address in Canada. Now I'm quite confused as the requirements for the proof of residency must include the name, address and must be less than six ( 6) months old from the date of your application submission.. I'm unable to get this last part regarding the less than six months old factor , as the health card's copy doesn't shows any such thing which says that it is less than six months or etc :/ ... As I only have the copy of his health card as a proof of residence.

What to do now ? Is it totally fine just to submit the health card for proving proof of residence which highlights the details described above. Whereas my cousin is taking care of my uncle and he is just able to provide this health card...Therefore, I will to find out the solution within this ... please help ... !!!

Proof of residency:

Provide evidence your listed relative physically resides in Canada. This may include copies of:

• lease agreements,
• the most recent Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency,
• an employer's letter confirming employment,
• monthly bills, etc., (one page of each bill is sufficient),
• credit card invoices and bank statements.

Note: The evidence should show the relative's name and full address in Canada and must be less than six ( 6) months old from the date of your application submission.

Hi.

Health card is not a proof of your relative living in Canada. They are asking for these documents to be sure that someone you are asking for really lives in Canada and havent taken passport, health card and driving license and is living somewhere else.

So you need something like phone bills, internet bills, credit card statement, bank statement (showing transactions and shouldnt be idle) . so any document that shows that your uncle is actually living in Canada. I hope you get the logic and find out documents to prove it. (even his recent traffic violence tickets would be good to prove :P )

yes if you are being paid your experience will be counted for but as part-time hours and not full time because you were studying as well you cant work full time. You will have to calculate hours and re-read the guidelines on it.

thanks for prompt reply .... also I had a confusion.

I have total 6 yrs experience in skill type a n b.......in total 6 yr experience including 2 yr experience in 1123 noc. Will my 6 yr experience will be counted or only 2 yr.? Job description provided for all experience .

Hi CanOl, highly appreciate your prompt response.

One request though, do you have any concrete example or evidence. Actually I am little worried as per the following forum topic that DD from HDFC is ONLY valid for 3 months.

www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/demand-draft-dd-from-india-will-not-valid-for-fees-payment-t219572.0.html

Is it specifically mentioned? If not then it is 6 months by default for all international DDs.

Hey Guys!!

I got a reply from CIO for a query which I sent on 24th September. They have given my UCI no and said "awaiting initial processing". Can you please advise what this means? Completeness check done? DD sent for cashing or they just allotted a UCI without opening my file?

You opinion is highly valued.

Thank you.

P.S.: My timelines are mentioned on the left, below my profile name.

Wait for encashment of DD
