Hi Century, Ashif, Palak

Need an insight, When we land in canada do we have to show our NOC jobs and duties letter at Immigration office?I just realized I dont have a copy of letter submitted as i submitted the originals. please let me know..What all do we need to carry ? do we have any topics here on the forum so that i can ask ?..I know its too early..just preparing myself..Waiting on PPR from NDVO

You can check here:
http://www.canadavisa.com/landing-settlement-canada.html
Documents to bring with you when you land

When you land in Canada, you should bring:

A Canadian immigrant visa and Confirmation of Permanent Residence for each family member traveling with you;
A valid passport or other travel document for each family member traveling with you;
Two copies of a detailed list of all the personal or household items you are bringing with you; and
Two copies of a list of items that are arriving later. (Note: The lists should state how much your personal and household items are worth.)
You must also bring with you enough money to cover living expenses such as rent, food, clothing and transportation for a six-month period. You may be asked to show proof of funds.

Make sure that your documents are available to show immigration officials, and not packed away in a suitcase. For more information on two-copy lists, please see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/guide/section-02.asp#1

Additional Documents you may need to bring with you

Depending on your circumstances, you may be asked for some of the following documents as well, so make sure you have them with you:

Birth certificates or baptismal certificates; marriage certificates; adoption, separation or divorce papers;
School records, diplomas or degrees for each family member travelling with you;
Trade or professional certificates and licenses;
Letters of reference from former employers;
A list of your educational and professional qualifications and job experience (this is also called a résumé);
Immunization, vaccination, dental and other health records for each family member;
Driver's license, including an International Driver's Permit if applicable;
Photocopies of all essential and important documents, in case the originals get lost (be sure to keep the photocopies in a separate place from the originals); and
Car registration documents (if you are importing a motor vehicle into Canada)

Also check the link for process:

If the Clinic doesn't call you to arrange for redoing the tests, you passed it. It's 100%.

Hi,
Was your passport valid when you applied? or already expired? If it was valid, i suppose you can provide new passport copies when you get PER to your respective VO.
If your passport was already expired during the time of application, i feel it would be good to send CIC an updated copy of new passport. Other seniors can also comment on it

No, Passport is active at that time (Date of expiry is 17/05/2015).

My personal view on applications received in May to July 2014 without feedback from CIC.

FOR MAY APPLICANTS.
CC not charged: Application must have been returned and as such check with your country postal services or returned application still in transit.
Note: CIC send by slow snail postal service which could take months to be delivered to an applicant.
DD not encashed: Same as above
PER not received after fee payment: You might have unknowingly deleted the PER email.
If you fall into any of the above mentioned situation, SEND A MAIL INQUIRY TO CIC straight away.
In the subject field mail write FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER.

FOR JULY APPLICANTS
Some July applicants are still in the game.
CC not charged till now: Call your bank/card issuer to know if there was any attempt on the card.
If the answer given to you is YES, instruct them to grant such payment if it was CIC.CIC will attempt
to charge your card 3 times and if unsuccessful, such application will be returned.

DD not encash till now: Call the DD issuer for an update on encashment of the draft.
PER not received after fee payment: You might have unknowingly deleted the PER email.
Alternatively contact CIC via email for application update now.

Good luck to all applicants.
