Hi All,
Can you please give me some very urgent info. I am at the last stages of setting my documents.
I have few confusions:

a) My wife doesn't have a Birth Certificate, will CIC accept her Secondary Exam Admit card , which has her father's name and her birth date.
b) In case Admit card is enough , does it need to be photocopy or original ?

CIC will accept a document which has both parents name, date, place of birth and your wife's name. admit card will not be accetable. its advisable to prepare a notorised affidavit bearing above details. also mention that she does not have birth certificate with all details required hence this affidavit as declaration.

Guys..finally I got a huge smile on my face when i saw the message that $1100 charged on my Credit Card few minutes back ( 7pm Indian Time) after 109 days since my application reached CIC

Now eagerly waiting for PER mail

App rcvd date : 24th July
CC Charge date : 11th Nov

Dear, don't you worry. Just now member sharan got his cc charged. His NOC and app dates are exactly same as yours. ONLY diff could be that, if your payment mode is DD, it might get delayed for a week or 2. Good Luck to you.

Mine is 18-Aug, DD mode, NOC- 2173. I am hoping for a positive response.

Guys, quick question, I plan to visit India in Jan. Can I get my medicals done in India, even though i live in the US? I just want to save some money, Getting medicals done in the US is ridiculously expensive.

Medicals can be done anywhere in the world with the panel physicians.
