They are focusing on these NOCs so they wont be overwhelmed with having to return all the applications that

haven't met the cap.

Guys..finally I got a huge smile on my face when i saw the message that $1100 charged on my Credit Card after 109 days since my application reached CIC

Now eagerly waiting for PER mail

Hina...I know how it feels when these blunders are made..Your NOC is very cold so go ahead and gather all your docs and resubmit. The dream lives on!! Take heart!

if we go with the thought that CIC is doing c-checks faster for hot NOCs like 2171 2173 etc then why not for 2132? 2132 is also in the hot category as far as cap filling rate is concerned. May be 2132 applicants are not interested in following this forum thread that's why their voices are not audible as of the other NOCs. or may be the fact that mech engineers are damn too lazy to update the SS.

We are not lazy to update SS. We r only calm as engine is getting warmed up slowly
If u heat up to fast , u damage CIC machines 8)

They will be overwhelmed by them anyway. Do you think each applicant will consult with the complete applications section of the website before sending the app?

They charge your card after completeness check. If they find somethong after charging they return your package before issuing PER
could be for example only 66 points instrad of 67

but, in the case you've mentioned, if they conclude that you have 66 instead of 67, then it is rejected due to ones ineligibility. that was my case. completeness check is if you have all the forms in place, and they deduct your money. if all that goes well, they look deeper into the app. then, if they find that you're missing points for any reason, you will be rejected. and they keep the money.

really!!! that's weired. as NOC 1112 has already reached cap on Nov-07-14.......!!! :-\

NOC 1112 is capped according the files passed completeness check which is suggested to be files delivered until end of August

Iam also 16th July and not heard any updates as yet was yours a DD or CC. is your money encashed?

True. C-check involves checking that every form, supporting document and signature are in place. Eligibility review is the time when they calculate points. As a result if application crosses 67 pass mark an applicant gets PER. If not - NER.
