My application has reached CIC on 28th July and I got email from Consultancy saying 2174 got filled up last month itself and they are asking to file again in 2172 code with some 20K charge extra. Can any one please suggest the way forward? Till this minute am expecting +ve sign, but seems going negative. Please suggest if i can change the code and re-apply, what are the chances?

Dont pay any money to consultant buddy.. Only thing which you need to prepare again is Experience letter with NOC 2172 duties.
Rest of all document remain the same which you should be able to manage it

One thing more, don't get the service of your consultant. Go get your documents quickly and submit it by yourself. A lot of seniors will answer your queries here and they will guide all the way. 2172 is safefor thecap.

Hi Friends,

My application was received by CIO on 4th of September. As per the latest update by CIC, the count for my NOC is 2173 is 699. My CC is not yet charged by CIO. Any ideas as to when will they charge the applications received on Sep-4?

Is the count updated after charging the credit card or DD? Please help me in understanding the process.

First ask your consultant to return back all your submitted documents and verify the letter received from CHC, i had experience the same issue in FSW2013... All consultants in India are cheaters don't believe them on first instance...
You can file the application on 2172 code if your duties can be match with 2172 NOC code...and ask your consultant that why they are charging 20K extra..there is one forms need to be revised rest all are same...

when i submitted my file, i forget to put the barcode on the top of my application. I clipped it at the end of the Generic From. Do you think this would make a problem?

Received email from NDVO an hour back... happy to announce that I have received the MR, RPRF and PCC request

Application received on 16th May.
NOC: 2171
CC charged on: 25th Aug.
PER received on: 4th Sept.
MR/RPRF/ PCC req received on 10th Nov

Visa office: New Delhi 8)

One query: They have asked for "Please send photocopies of your updated/valid passports (only front and back Bio pages) for all". Hope this is normal practice. pls share your feedback.

Don't worry. You are in the cap if you hadn't make any blunder to your application. If everything is perfect then just wait for your turn.
