Dear All Canada Aspirants,
Greetings!!!
I have a sensitive topic at hand.My wife & i have applied as a couple with me being the PA on 13th Aug,2014.I am expecting a reply latest by Dec 2014 realistically. We are planning to have a baby in the next year. However i am worried whether that would affect our medicals if she conceives post Dec.Can anyone please highlight the proposed timeline of the process post PER in months step by step & also advise if the medical process will be affected if she is expecting.Thanks.

Buddy,

Processing time is a Local VO depended thing.....Although u may assume 9-11 months avg timeline for the Visa stamping....

Here is the process:

PER

1st line on Ecas (We received your application for Permanent Residence on ....)

File transfer to Visa office

AOR (Some Visa offices don't send AOR)

INTERVIEW (mostly waived)

2nd line on Ecas (We started processing your application on ......)

MR + RPRF + Additional documents request

3rd Line on Ecas (Medical Results have been received)

PPR (NDVO sends MR, RPRF, additional docs and PPR together)

4th line on Ecas (A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision)

VISA

PER: POSITIVE ELIGIBILITY REVIEW
AOR: ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT
MR: MEDICAL REQUEST
RPRF: RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEES
PPR: PASSPORT REQUEST

So if ur spouse is pregnant before getting PER then u may have to wait ur child's birth....:)

If they do they'll ask for a new PCC with MR!!

But you are worrying unnecessarily!!! Have a Scotch on the rocks!!! :P
Dude i am not worrying. Even if they wil ask abt new pcc, it wil have same adress as old one because in our country police certificate contain the same adress as national identity card. In short u r saying i shud change my adress in national identity card? By the way by MR means medical report right?

Hello Seniors,

After a long wait, finally the MR email hit my inbox today morning from NDVO requesting for further documents along with Medical. I would like to take your valuable feedback/suggestions on the below before i proceed ahead on the next steps :

1. Though i already submitted the original PCC's (both mine & wife) along with my application, i further got a request from NDVO stating "From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for yourself from India." Now what does that mean ? Did anyone else got the same request from NDVO even after submitting the PCCs already ?

2. My wife is expecting and the date given by the doctor is end of January. Do i need to intimate NDVO about this ? If yes, how this is going to impact the processing timelines ? or else we need to go with our medicals for the time being ?

Your help would be much appreciated.

SKM

Dear hmRizwan,

Sorry that your application got rejected. But if you need to blame someone about then blame yourself. Have you actually checked the document checklist properly? In the WORK EXPERIENCE field(checklist serial no.12)??? No i think you didn't. So make everything perfect & check, check and check what CIC has asked for??? Hope you can make it??

Ashif,
Welcome back and +1 for your grand comeback.

Hello all,

As I mentioned, today I received request for RPRF, also they have asked me for updated C.V. and my activities since the application submission.
Aren't they supposed to ask for RPRF after Medical Request?

What should I mention in my activities? Is it work related or financially & other things too? Is there a template for that?

Here's the email that I have received...

Dear Applicant,

In order to complete your application for permanent residence in Canada, please send to our office (CANADIAN EMBASSY Immigration Section 35 avenue Montaigne 75008 PARIS – FRANCE) BY EMAIL the following documents and information:

- the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) (a payment made by bank draft or certified cheque has to be sent only by postal mail)

- a detailed and updated copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV or resume) bearing information about employer, responsibilities and education

- details of your activities since June 2014

If we do not receive these documents within 30 days your application will be examined on the basis of the material available. This could result in the refusal of your application.
