At last CIS updated the CAP.As per CIC today 2173 cap is 699.My application received on Oct 16th.
Please let me know the chances for PER.

So The AOR comes after the PER , is it ?

The email received today says:

"Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office."

Is that PER or AOR ?

this is definitely per. Aor may or may not be issued, depending on your vo.

I'm an applicant from NDVO. I may have to travel to the US in coming few months (I don't have US Visa yet, though).

Assuming PR visa is granted, and then I get the US visa : can I travel to US and from there enter Canada? Or do I have to fly to Canada directly from India?

You can land at any POE except QC.

NOC Code Title Apps in the spreadsheet filed for this NOC + estimated past apps that will be added to the spreadsheet later Estimated % of total worldwide applications in the spreadsheet Estimated % of NOC cap filled Estimated date by which your application should be received to be in the cap. Not proven to be accurate, use with caution.

2132 Mechanical engineers 283 22.50% 100.00% Cap can be reached for apps rcvd. after 8/22/2014 - 12/23/2014?

does that mean application after 22 August have no chance in 2132 NOC CAP?

Dear canol,
I am from India and my application was received by CIO on 22 October 2014. I had following queries:
1. In Schedule A background/declaration, details of my education I had mention Elementary/Primary Education as 12 years (up to 10th standard) and Secondary/high School as 02 years (11th and 12th Standard). In the field of study I had mentioned Science in both field is it OK?
2. Or I have to resend the entire Schedule A background/declaration form by correcting years as Elementary/Primary Education 09 years and Secondary/high School as 05 years.
3. What should I mention in field of study?
4. I had send name affidavit too but the print was on legal size paper (216 x 356 mm) instead of A4 size paper (210 x 297 mm) is it OK?
Anyone with similar case and gone through for PER/MR?
I am worried, Pleas reply urgently

Applications are processed on first come first served basis, but processing speed varies.
