because i have not received anything back yet from there end as in the papers are still with them so what are the chances we can expect..........

I am a 2nd July applicant.. Still no news from CIC.. I saw a 28th Aug applicant got his file back.. is it true? So that means if my application was to be rejected, I should have got my file by now, right?

My NOC increased +123 by the last update still no PER. Even people later my date got PER on the same NOC. I have emailed them, but it will take 10 to 30 business days to get a reply. Cannot wait that long, please let me know if CIC provide application status over phone. If yes, please provide the number.

Pray for me brothers.

My Application recieved in 11th July 2014
NOC: 1123
I've received now an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) from the CIO with my UCI and file number,

Is the AOR is the same as PER ?? and if not .. what is the difference ?

and what is next ?

I am married so I have sent marriage certificate and our names as spouse is mentioned in our respective passports.I have not sent IMM5409E declaration of common law union is ok?

I'm confused. Could you elaborate on this more?

As far I know CAP was based on PERs with the exemption on the 2174 update that made it 1K which most people in the thread assumed as based on completeness check in order to CAP out 2174 to stop people from submitting.

zaydoov, a member here had forwarded am email he recd from cic regarding cap which clearly mentioned that completed apps are considered for cap.
Hence the inference that cap is based on completeness checks

I know full-time working means more than 30 hours per week.
But about part-time...How can I calculate?
Is there any particular formula?
Doesn't make any difference between 15 hours per week and 27 hours per week?
