from the cap update, we can conclude that CIC has spent most of its time during the last 4 weeks in completeness checks.
May be they completed Aug and Sep applications too....

So, we can expect shower of payment charges & PERs is coming weeks..

Unfortunately, it is wishful thinking. CCC speed is unlikely to change as it remains the same since May.

Guys i have very good news for you all, after sometime of having the hesitation about the CAP updates and how it is being estimated and either for completeness check or CC charge or PER. i decided earlier last month to send an email to CIC asking about that specifically. here below the reply i got today

Dear Sir/Madam:

The website provides an estimate only of the applications included in the cap.

Until the application is checked for completeness, it cannot be confirmed as being received. Once it has been determined that the submission is complete, it is counted in the cap and the information is updated electronically. Due to high volumes of submissions, there is a lag between confirmation of receipt of a complete application and the electronic update of the cap count.

Hi Guys...Sorry for re-posting... Anyone??

It's quite likely that you will fall within the cap. So don't assume rejection just yet. Hopefully, your payment will be charged soon.

Hello everyone,

Sorry I'm new at this forum and I don't understand a lot of abbreviations here,

My Application recieved in 11th July 2014
NOC: 1123
I've received now an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) from the CIO with my UCI and file number,

Is the AOR is the same as PER ?? and if not .. what is the difference ?

and what is next ?

Thanks a lot

if it is from cio, then it might be per. Per is issued by cic /cio and is positive eligibility review. Aor is acknowledgement of receipt which is issued by local vo one they receive your file. Aor is now discontinued by many vo's.

Dear Experts,
I am from India and my application was received by CIO on 22 October 2014. I had following queries:
1. In Schedule A background/declaration, details of my education I had mention Elementary/Primary Education as 12 years (up to 10th standard) and Secondary/high School as 02 years (11th and 12th Standard). In the field of study I had mentioned Science in both field is it OK?
2. Or I have to resend the entire Schedule A background/declaration form by correcting years as Elementary/Primary Education 09 years and Secondary/high School as 05 years.
3. What should I mention in field of study?
4. I had send name affidavit too but the print was on legal size paper (216 x 356 mm) instead of A4 size paper (210 x 297 mm) is it OK?
Anyone with similar case and gone through for PER/MR?
I am worried, Pleas reply urgently

Whether anyone given reference letter in letter head signed by colleague & got MR or Visa.

NDVO not accepting anyone sign other than HR. They scrutinize & refusing such case.

Whether plain paper reference letter with visiting card will be replaced in VO for letter head reference letter signed by colleague.
15th Aug applicant, if sent to CIO I don't think CIO will replace.

Should be OK. Many people have for pets doing the same.
