Guys need your help! I am waiting for my MR request from CPC - Ottawa. I am June 25th applicant. Need your help with below question.

I sent the police clearance certificate along with my application. PCC was obtained in Aug 2013 - and so it was less than 1 year of my application date. Does it satisfy CIC requirement? somewhere I read PCC should be less than 3 months. Is it so? If yes, is it better to apply for the PCC now while waiting for MR request? Please let me know!

Thanks again for all your support.

Brother, I am a 5125 applicant. I received PER a week ago. Please share your reference with us! Did it contain your employer's or customer's contact details? Who signed it?
And please, share some details - you made an e-mail inquiry? How long did it take them to reply?

PS. Oh, I forgot to mention - I do not have linguistic education at all, I have degree in technical field. Education is irrelevant.

I was working for a publication company for almost 2 years and then i was working as interpreter and translator in canadian and australian embassy in my country for almost 6 years. Reference letter provided.

Serious.. Serious.. Serious mater.... I got this genuine info, in my friends circle. Ndvo
A verification call to company HR dept, exp letter in letter head. Signed by colleague. HR told we didn't give & its unauthorized.

100% refusal & Job threat in current company. he is 14may applicant. Very serious issue.

I given previous company noc in 12a 0911 - desired occupation.
Current company simply in other noc 2132. all r truth. but both in letter head signed by colleague. Can I stop payment, I am Aug 15 applicant. my employer very strict on legal & ethics.
But offer letter, promotion till salary slip genuine. Pls suggest can I withdraw & try later with A4 & visiting card reference letter. my current job is very imp for me if refused. I am in fear now.

If senior is giving ref letter it should have ideally been on plain paper. Obviously HR will not take this lying down if policy doesn't allow. Get new ref letter on plain paper signed by seniors and send urgently in lieu of older docs to CIC. Good if they accept and replace earlier docs.

Can anyone please provide a suggestion:
Since I am new I am not sure about the trend of CAPS from last year...

1. Is there any chance of getting through 2173 CAP this year if I apply in Dec 2nd week
2. If not what would be next best category under which I can apply based on the current CAP count published by CIC
2171 (248 - applications so far)or 2172 (73 - applications so far)
3. Does anyone know when the CAP is updated on the CIC site..

Please help as my time is running out.. In the worst case I might use all my documents collected for next year JAN 2015 (EE)

If you can get supporting documents for NOC 2172, then by all means apply through it. Right now its almost impossible to know the status of any of the hot NOCs due to the delayed cap update. 2172 is the safest of all IT NOCs, so you would be safe if you submit anytime this year.

Best of luck!

Here is the email:

Be advised your application was returned due to ineligible NOC. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

We do not keep detailed records of each application returned so I am unable to provide more case specific details.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

It is the first time I come across such reason for rejection. If 5125 is on the list of eligible occupations, how can it be deemed ineligible?
