Hi - I am pretty new to this forum.. I am reading through all your posts. This is GREAT..

I need your expert thoughts..

I have 9+ years of experience in IT and I came to CANADA on a closed WP on June 2014 and I am not aware of this FSW program at that point..(Sitll in CANADA)

Now I have all the documents ready for FSW and I will taking my IELTS on Nov 22..

I was planning to apply under 2173 but it looks like by reading the post, it will be HIGHLY Impossible to fall under this CAP this year: Any comments?

So i am planning to apply under 2172 - Database analysts and data administrators or 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants.

Could you please provide your expert advice on which one should I select given that the earliest i can apply is aroun Dec 2nd week right after getting my IELTS score..

I profile fits to both 2171 or 2172...I will try to push my employer to get an experience letter.

Since I am running out of time..Appreciate immediate suggestions...

Thanks

Don't bother with 2173 at all.

Hi - Thanks for your response..

I saw your comments, just to make sure I understood your response correctly..
Are you saying I should not try applying under 2173 as its too late..

What would be your next best recommendation

2171 (248 - applications so far)or 2172 (73 - applications so far)

Can anyone please provide a suggestion:
Since I am new I am not sure about the trend of CAPS from last year...

1. Is there any chance of getting through 2173 CAP this year if I apply in Dec 2nd week
2. If not what would be next best category under which I can apply based on the current CAP count published by CIC
2171 (248 - applications so far)or 2172 (73 - applications so far)
3. Does anyone know when the CAP is updated on the CIC site..

Please help as my time is running out.. In the worst case I might use all my documents collected for next year JAN 2015 (EE)

please refer FSW2014 spreadsheet. It is believe to have 30% of the candidate count if I am not wrong.

Sorry to post this question again,

My application was received on June 9,2014. I got my CC charged in August and PER in October.

I lived in UK, India for more than 6 months in the past--I got PCC from India, UK back in June 2014 itself( after the application was sent)

I am currently living in USA --got PCC ( from US) in July, 2014.

Are these PCC's valid? I read in CIC that they must have been applied within 3 months of application and are valid for a period of one year from the date of issue. I just want to confirm.

Serious.. Serious.. Serious mater.... I got this genuine info, in my friends circle. Ndvo
A verification call to company HR dept, exp letter in letter head. Signed by colleague. HR told we didn't give & its unauthorized.

100% refusal & Job threat in current company. he is 14may applicant. Very serious issue.

I given previous company noc in 12a 0911 - desired occupation.
Current company simply in other noc 2132. all r truth. but both in letter head signed by colleague. Can I stop payment, I am Aug 15 applicant. my employer very strict on legal & ethics.
But offer letter, promotion till salary slip genuine. Pls suggest can I withdraw & try later with A4 & visiting card reference letter. my current job is very imp for me if refused. I am in fear now.

Is this really true.. Even i did not inform my company HR about applying for FSW but both my company experience letters are provided by company only not my colleague...

Brother, I am a 5125 applicant. I received PER a week ago. Please share your reference with us! Did it contain your employer's or customer's contact details? Who signed it?
And please, share some details - you made an e-mail inquiry? How long did it take them to reply?

PS. Oh, I forgot to mention - I do not have linguistic education at all, I have degree in technical field. Education is irrelevant.

These are very good points LittleOwl. +1 and hoping for a hassle-free KVO processing for your case.
