Completence checking for Sep application starts? any news?

AFAIK last completeness check attestation was on Aug 27. That was a few days ago. Once a new attestation comes up we could get a good estimate. But most probably, they are going on first week of Sept by now. :)

I can only comment on the bold part. Not true at all. Application as processed first-come-first-serve regardless of NOC, at least until PER.

Also, why do you want to put a query? Your application has been there only 3 weeks. You got another two months at the very least before CIC will even bother with your application.

Thanks a lot for your reply..

I just thought about putting a query on the 7th or 8th week as my agent asked me to .. now i dont think i need to .. its better to wait patiently I reckon my turn around January end hopefully.. thanks for your help ..

My agent certainly misguided me to an extent ..I am thankful to everyone here for helping me out and helping out in a right way ... :)

and +1 to you.. :)

Depends on the NOC code he/she will be applying for.
He is applying for property administrator. ?. But worry is he wont be ready to send docs by mid of january... so question is, how long cic will accept files if cap is not filled...

Hi All Experts,

Unfortunately WES has taken around one month to issue ECA. They have now given me date of 26th of Nov, 2014 to issue ECA. I am Purchasing Manager and applying for Purchasing Manager profession. As per last update of CIC there were only 64-applications received.

Can anyone give his professional guess, that if I send my complete application on 30th Nov, 2014, the cap for the profession of Purchasing manager would have been filled? Or there is still chance that my application might be considered and cap will not be filled, because I have seen not too many applicants applying under this category.

Regards,
George

BS is an abbreviation of a word that Canadians ordinary use to describe bold statements that are anything but true, which is the case with your agents piece of advice. Medical occupations are in fact processed at a slower speed (according to SS), which I attribute to a non-streamlined process of confirming the applicants ECA. Good luck with your application.

Thanks for your reply.

Medical occupations are processed slow..? :( really? I hope they get going little faster .. I am hoping for PER around January End or Feb 1st week.. so lets see.. Thanks and good luck to you too.. :)

And +1 for you..:)

Outside Canada: 1-613-944-4000 - This is a US number and you need to select 1 for immigration which will then route the call to Immigration canada.

The international code 1 is common for both US and Canada and the number 1-613-944-4000 is a Canadian number. The area code 613 is for Ottawa and eastern Ontario according to Google

The road is clear for that NOC. You could submit application until end of this year's FSW program (Sometime before April 2015). :)

Don't Quit!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
when the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but do not quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow—
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out—
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit—
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Hi members. i am preparing to submit a new application as i feel my first one is rejected.
I do not know the reasons as i have not received my application back.

My noc is 2132 (Mechanical Engineer) but it is one of the top nocs that will get filled up next month. Can i apply for 2232 (Mechanical Technologist/Technician)?
All of my duties are included in both NOCs but my job title (Piping Engineer) is in 2132. Which is important? Matching your job tile in your NOC or matching it with most job duties?

Thanks.
