Hello everyone. I'm waiting for my PER since I was charged through my CC last November 3 2014. App was received on July 17 2014. If I (hopefully) received PER, is that a big chance I can pass the FSW program?Thank you for the kind answers!

Hello All,

I am 22 july DD applicant and today i called up the HDFC guy to check the status on the DD and it was confirmed that the last DD en-cashed was with the DD # XX758 withdrawal at bank of nova scotia hope this helps people who have taken DD in HDFC Blr.
i think a week time is required for the 22 july DD to be en-cashed may be i will check coming Monday or Tuesday for the DD status with the bank..

My name is sumit and I am from India but i am currently studying in Canada since Sep 2014. Can I apply for PR under FSW category from Canada itself ? (CIO-Sydney visa office)

(I meet all other requirements for the category )

hi Sumit,

You can apply for FSW but you need to check for the catagory which you are applying as few of the catagories are capped already and few going to be soon by the time you apply, so check the catagory and then apply as it takes 3 months for charging it.

23rd to 27th june application have been charged but still PER not recieved....what may be reason....I try calling cic bt after all recording they hang up call...what to do knw...pls suggest...even mailed them....

Hi Thanks a lot for the reply. I am applying under NOC category 2172 and only 73 applications are filed as of now.
The main concern for me is whether I can apply in a different country such as Canada as on the document checklist it is written that the CIO-Sydney, Canada can not be chosen as the visa office.

Don't call them. They have no information on FSW applications at CIO stage. Your email will be answered in 45 days provided that you supplied all the information to identify you as applicant.

This was last updated on 3rd October when July applications had not started getting CC charged. So CAP probably includes few July applications which had passed the completeness check test but not charged at that time. But Aug applications definitely must not have been considered.

Now that's my view and someone else's view may differ which I will totally respect.

Thanks. Considering all aug applications have gone through completeness check, does it mean next CAP update will include all aug applications?
My application reached CIC on 30th sep so just wanted to find an estimate whether it will be considered or not.

Sorry I could not get you....which assumption are you talking about that only 73 apps are filed ? Ya it might be changed since last week (These are the figures as per the cic website today). Or you are talking about the other assumption that I can apply at CIO-Sydney ?
