I was eagerly waiting for this mail and could barely sleep for the last 2 days as I was expecting it anytime. Today being Gurupurab,we were on our way to Gurudwara when I received the mail and felt SO BLESSED.

After the CC charge, I was so anxious for PER mail as it would be a vindication that I have prepared the documents correctly( The family pressurized me to hire an agent but I refused). Though most of the organizations I worked with previously provided me with BRIEF job responsibility letters, the current company(one of India's biggest IT companies) refused to do so. Besides mentioning the job roles of the current organization on a plain sheet ,along with pay slips, form 16, promotion letters, I also attached with my application to CIC, the refusal letter wherein the company stated that its against their policies to issue any such letters with job responsibilities on a letter-head.

All and all , feeling relaxed......

wait for the next step starts..

Thanks for the reply. I heard SGVO is the slowest so might take 90 days for MR to come after PER?
The thing is this will be a major spine surgery though its recoverable. If it was just 45 days ill wait and do surgery after MR, but 90+ days would be too long to postpone.
request someone from SG VO applicant to pls reply based on exp.
my NOC is 2171

I suggest you go to the hospital which is approved by CIC for MR and check with them if they see any concerns with this surgery.
They may also be able to tell you - what are the things considered during the medical tests and if spine surgery has any role to play in medical results.

Hi Friends, I'm in a big confusion now. Please help.
I'm principal applicant. My wife's work experience duration of her previous employment is actually one month more than what we have mentioned in the application.
This has happened because at the time of filling the application, my wife didn't have the experience letter from the previous employer due to some settlement amount. She got the experience letter after I had sent my application to CIC and in that experience letter the employer has considered some extra days of her job, which is extending her work experience to next month. She was clue less about it at the time of filling the application. But in her application, the present employment details are mentioned correctly. The problem is with the details of previous employer. If my wife has to work at Canada in future, will there be a problem if her records are different than letters? Please note that there is no overlap period between previous employment and present, since there was a gap after her previous employment.
I have got the PER recently. Please let me know if there is a need to inform CIC about it.
I don't want to take any risk, at the same time I would like to keep my records clear with CIC.
Please suggest what should be done.

Nothing to worry, and it also wont affect anything incase if you wife has to work in Canada.
Incase if you want send them amended forms along with cover letter mentioning the reason of sending amended forms.

A question -
I'll be sending the amended form to cic canada, but by that time my file would have reached the local vo. So should I first contact them in the email explaining this?
